This is an outstandingly good small hotel handily placed about a ten minutes walk from the city square. The most impressive feature is the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the staff. It was my third stay here, and I was treated like an old friend. The breakfasts are lovingly made and imaginatively presented - thank you Myrka! My room had a wonderfully comfortable double bed and a small fridge, tea, coffee and a kettle, and the staff provided crockery and cutlery so that I could provide simple cold meals for myself.

Absolutely nothing.

Easy check-in and out. Very spacious room and bathroom. Everything very neat and tidy. Large and tasty breakfast. I had a room towards the street, but it was still very quiet during the night. The concept of a hotel with reception hours only from 8-10 in the morning was weird at first, but everything worked really well. Also, super nice and helpful staff.

Walls and ceiling could use a new coat of paint. Bathtub instead of a shower (which is fine), but without a shower curtain or anything.

The receptionist was kind and responsive to help my travel plan, I appreciate for that. THe bed was nice.

The door knob on the bathroom door and the toilet flush button were broken that it was obvious for the cleaning person but it was left as it was. The water in the kettle was remained, it must have not been cleaned after the previous user. In the morning the strong perfume was filled in the entrance and the buffet room, it gave me a headache.

Breakfast choices were outstanding. Truly a great breakfast. Keep in mind that the breakfast staff's english is limited but if you keep the talk to just breakfast you will have no trouble. Try all the choices - you won't go wrong with any of them; Reception staff was great just limited in scope in person; Room a great size; bathroom a great size; windows that open; good closet space; 2 sofa's; 2 supermarkets within walking distance; quiet neighbourhood; good WiFi

This is not the hotel's fault, but I like using hotels where there is someone on site if not 24 hours, but at the very least when the check-in time opens. The hotel had a new keys in a box system with combination provided via e-mail the morning of with the key boxes before the front entrance. In theory this allows the guest to arrive outside of hotel check in hours which is great. However. I had the combination to the key box but because the boxes were so new and made out of plastic I could not get the box open. and I was genuinely afraid I was going to break the box that is how much force I was applying. In fact I had to give up because I simply could not believe that the box could only open with this much difficulty. I thought I was doing something wrong. Not a great feeling. This led to an unfortunate delayed check in situation. In fact I only met reception once during my entire stay and it was a good experience, but for the reason I just stated and many others I like to meet a human being upon entering a hotel. For this reason alone I would not stay here again and that's too bad because there are lots of things to like about this hotel and lots of reasons to stay at this hotel.

- Bathtub does not have a shower curtain - No bedside table. I need my glasses if I get up in the middle of the night. A bedside table will have been most helpful. - Location of power outlet beside the bed is awkward. Particular if you need to use an adaptor. Perhaps more power outlets? - There is no 24-hour front desk reception. Can be awkward to arrange a different check-in/check-out time if the timing does not suit. Having said that the owner was very helpful and accommodating in my case. - Doable but a bit of a walk from bus station.

Vegan waffles upon request, very nice lady serving breakfast who really tried her best to make nice vegan breakfast for me. Thank you!

I would like a firmer mattress but otherwise I was very happy and it’s really good value for money.

A blind on the window would help to block some of the street lighting.

The house is located in a residential area, on a quiet street. Room was large and spotlessly clean, carefully arranged and themed to the smallest detail.

It was rather hot at arrival, so the room needed a bit of airflow before temperature went down to the comfort level. Not a big issue in September, when nights are cooler, though.

This is a very special hotel, run by enthusiasts with a passion for stylish presentation, superb breakfasts and above all the friendliest of welcomes for their guests. Everything is met with a smile and nothing is too much trouble.

The bath and shower apparatus is a little quirky and can give the floor a good soaking.
