Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only downside was the bed, wich was quite hard and not very comfirtable to sleep.
The apartment was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The location was convenient – close to everything we needed, with easy access to shops and public transport. Having free parking included was a big plus and made things even easier. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free stay – would gladly come back!

The sockets in the bedroom are a bit poorly thought out and it is a bit dark in the bathroom, but these are minor things that are not even worth paying attention to, given all the other advantages.
Excellent apartments. Everything is new and clean. Well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee machine with a sufficient set of capsules. Close to the old town and grocery stores. Parking under the house. Astrid is a wonderful hostess. She gave us the keys when we checked in, and when we checked out we simply slammed the door and left the keys on the table.

It’s not about this beautiful apartment but about the town - locals love lavender and it’s everywhere around the city. So if you are allergic to the smell of lavender (rare but dangerous allergy), Mikulov is not the place for you.
The apparent is very clean, well designed and well kept. Astrid is very nice, friendly and cheerful hosts, she made us feel welcome from the first minute. The are near is quiet and safe, in a walking distance from the city centre. Many good restaurants can be reached in a few minutes

Great apartments for a one-night stay during trip. Apartments were very clean, fresh, and modern. Although the view from the window was not the best, it didn't matter much as we were not there for the view. We found everything we needed in the apartments. The castle was not far away, and even with small kids, it was easily accessible. On our way back from the trip, we booked the same apartments again. I highly recommend it. If we decide to stay in Mikulov for a couple of days next time, we will definitely choose the same apartment again.

A matter of taste but for me the bed in the bedroom is too hard.
The apartment is unique in every way. Impeccable cleanliness, great equipment, very good contact with the owner, parking space. The owner has thought of everything.

The sofa bed was not too comfortable, but absolutely alright for a short stay.
Modern, clean and well-located apartment (10min walk to the main square of Mikulov) with everything you need for a short stay in Mikulov. The parking in front of the house was included. Astrid was incredibly kind and the communication with her was flawless.

there was nothing not to like
We had an excellent stay in Astrid’s apartment, it was very clean, comfortable, so many sweet details made our stay perfect. We hope we will return here! The location is great, walking distance to main attractions, restaurants, grocery store.

Cleaning. On first look everything looks totally perfect, but once you turn on the lights, the huge lights in the room are not cleaned probably since the apartment is there. The floor in the bathroom was slippery, which is giving the impression that the shower is just not being cleaned deeply for quiet some time. Also you should be aware that the apartment is in the first floor without the lift. So depend on what kind of traveller you are, but if you are with kids and a lot of bags, you should be aware.
The equipmet of the accommodation was nice. The location is also good, but you will hardly find something not close in Mikulov as the city is just small.
