How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe receptionist was very helpful
The telephone connection to the reception did not work. Wooden corners of beds are sharp and dangerous. No water kettle available, no air conditioner! No teabags or coffee in the room. No second chair. No place to put toiletries.

Verified reviewThis was our first visit to the town of Třebíč and our stay at hotel "Atom". The town is stunning especially its Jewish Quarter, St. Cyril and St. Methodius monument at Karlovo Namesti and churches including St. Prokopii Basilica. We learnt a lot about the Check old and modern history. The hotel offered us all facilities. It was really a very pleasant surprise for us. The room was spacious, the bathroom was shining. Towels and linen were very clean. The breakfast was wholesome with fresh and tasty vegetables and fruits. The gym inside is absolutely professional relying on all necessary sport equipment. We are extremely grateful to the staff for their efforts to find the best possible itineraries back to Brno. The blond young receptionist was excellent to provide all necessary transportation information and support. The "Molecule" restaurant next to the hotel serves very delicious dishes and services are perfect due also to the staff speaking very good English. We heartily recommend "Atom" Hotel to all people that will arrive at Třebíč.
The breakfast could be diversified with more cakes and croissants. Tourists would be happy to taste local products as well.
Dear Bissera, Thank you very much for the nice review! We are sincerely pleased that you were satisfied with your stay in our hotel and that you liked our town of Třebíč. Thank you also for the feedback about the breakfast. These observations are very important for us to improve our services. Greetings from Třebíč Kateřina, hotel manager

The Skinny Blonde woman who works at the reception and other that cant get it fast should never be seated at reception. I come every month 3-4 times to this Hotel, I drive from Graz Austria to this Hotel (4 Hours drive) and all i wanna after this long drive that my room is ready and Garage key is ready. I come very often to this hotel and all staff knows me well that i never come without booking garage and I like a room with balcony. The most staff as soon they see me they got everything ready without me need to say something like my Today booking 06.08.24 the reception lady who done my CheckIn was PERFECT. She had everything ready for me and it took only 1,5min to have a room key and garage and all payed by EURO with card without asking me because she knows her job and knows her regular guest and knows I like to pay in euro ONLY In other side there is receptionist like the skinny blonde woman who checked in this Booking, everytime I see her sitting in reception i wanna turn and LEAVE. She knows me well, she knows i always need garage and that im regular customer however she NEVER get anything right. Room : Everytime i come she dont know if my room is cleaned or not Garage: I have to tell her Million time that i need garage and YES I NEED THEM FOR ALL NIGHTS IM STAYING Paying with card : I like to pay with EURO not CZK I dont care if I will pay fees I WANT TO PAY BY EURO, However she dont even ask if i wanna pay by euro or czk she just click on CZK without asking and says its better like Wtf??
Hello Karim, first of all, we would like to thank you for repeatedly using our services (8 times this year). We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the check-in process during your visit in July. Just as we value you as a customer, we also value our employees and their work. Our hotel has more than 190 beds and there are currently 7 receptionists in rotation at the hotel reception. The check-in process is more complex than just handing over the card from the hotel room and usually involves several shifts and therefore several reception staff. The receptionist who is on shift upon your arrival usually has a reservation noted and a card prepared by one of her colleagues. We always try to do our best to make your check-in process smooth, but it helps if you put your requirements in the notes section of your booking. Thank you for understanding. The check-in time officially starts at 14:00, if you arrived earlier, the reception may not yet have information about whether the room is ready. It is also our duty to always require proof of identity, even for permanent guests. In the past, we have had a frequent guest fail to inform us of a new ID and the hotel was fined by the foreign police. We apologize for the misunderstanding when entering the currency on the terminal. It is common practice for the receptionist to ask the guest what currency they prefer. Again, we alerted the staff to do this. Best regards from Trebic Katerina, hotel manager

Verified reviewGood, quiet location just outside the town centre. Dogs/pets allowed. The staff were great. Very well-equipped room (better than most more expensive hotels) and comfy beds. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and there was a lovely shower as well. Can't think of a single thing that was bad about this place so I highly recommend it.
Nothing. One of those rare perfect finds. Very satisfied.

Verified reviewTrebic is an interesting, quite big city. The Hotel is not in the center, but there is something, like an upper centre of the town. It is a quite standard, 7 stories hotel. I like these, especially in a longer travel, having one night, when everything is normal and standard. The panorama from the 7th floor had been great if it was not foggy. I liked the snow-white bed sheet and cover.
The tiles in the bathroom are small and grey. They probably thought that is not sensitive to dirt, but actually it gets dirty and cannot be cleaned properly. TV remote was slow, some channels doubled. Light on bed-side had a connection problem. Not so easy to find in the night, there is no big sign. Parking in front of the hotel is small, you will probably need to park opposite, that parking can also become full easily.
