However it is not a place that you can use as a skiing destination, especially with small kids. The operator of the building (not the owner of the apartment) does not help with getting a car entry permit for the national park and encourages you to use his "transportation" services to the parking located down the mountain in Cerny Dul. This is probably the world's most expensive transport, where for a 2.5 km ride for 9 people the cost one way is close to 100EUR each time. Even if you manage to get the permit yourself (which by the way is for free and you can get it at the nearest national park office location), then it turns out that you have no space to park near the building and another set of problems is being created due to that reason. Please keep in mind that even the initial ride up the mountain in order for you to be able to transport your luggage is also not for free and you will be informed about this on the day of your departure. The other prices for the use of the sauna and jacuzzi are also pretty steep due to lack of any competition around. For restaurants, you have some other hotels located about 1-1.5km uphill, so at least with food and drinks you will have other possibilities on top of the local small restaurant in the building with crazy prices. So people should really evaluate whether this is a perfect location for their stay because if anyone is planning to go skiing every day, then adding the cost of local transportation to the winter parking will make this place financially less attractive than much better skiing places in the Alps. If you however would like to get the permit and drive up the mountain into the national park, another difficulty that you need to keep in mind is how steep and narrow the road is, that there is no snow clearing service on this road and practically you need at least a 4 wheel drive car with snow chains on all 4 wheels to be even thinking about such a possibility in the winter.

The apartment itself is great. It is spacious, clean, well equipped for a short stay with the family and very comfortable. The building has a small restaurant, jacuzzi and a sauna. It is quiet and in the middle of the national park. The place is great for people who are looking for an isolated place, to wander in the forest, to read books, listen to the sound of nearby mountain streams and enjoy the view outside. The building is relatively new, everything is really neat and tidy, the neighbors (private owners) are also very nice and friendly.
