Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe building itself was very run-down and in need of a lot of attention. The furnishings are beyond their usefulness for a hotel and the carpeting is very thin, almost felt. It was like a time capsule to a 1980's youth hostel more than a hotel. I could tell they did make some improvements like adding bathrooms to rooms, but they were clearly an afterthought and not part of a primary design.
The room was clean. for the state of the building, someone took the time to make sure that the room was very clean and that was much appreciated. Also, the mattresses were fairly comfortable.

SlovakiaHotel is near very frequent road, maybe due to reconstructions in the city, so with wooden windows you hear every car. Whether the floor is wooden or tiled, noise all over the hotel with every step, except stairs. Staff and cleaning lady should practice communication with customers. Never had feeling in any hotel, not even a hostel, that I am bothering someone and that feeling came from multiple persons at the same accommodation facility. Room is old. Toilet had flushing button lost. No dark curtains on all windows, so longer sleep in the morning can be quite difficult. Between 06:00-14:00 not possible to enter hotel in any way, no key from entrance, no reception.
Comfortable bed and pillow; clean bathroom. Free parking along the street.

Czech RepublicA bit runned down, but for the price can't complain
The hotel is basic, but so is the price. It delivers what you pay for. I found the hotel good for a nights sleep and breakfast. The receptionist spoke some German to help my poor czech language skills. The restaurant was open till 8 pm serving excellent traditional bohemian dishes. Breakfast was basic but for czk 100 or Euro 4.50 it offers good value fir money, In Prague you pay that sometimes for only a fancy coffe.

GermanyTHE WORST EVER since i use Booking.com [15 years Membership] The WORST EVER since i use Booking.com Payment per Card not possible. Payment in Euro Banknote not possible. You need to find an ATM at 23:55 Oclock in January in Temperature of -2 C° before you get your Room. CheckOut at 10:00 ..... !!!! The Hotel Staff came really to my Room at 10:10 and cnocked to notify me to leave the Room. Breakfast not available and also not bookable. I would ask for REFUND of at least 50% of 1000 CK.

ChinaThe hotel is very old and has not been renovated in a long time. The advertised WiFi is only available at reception and the rooms have no night blends whatsoever even the curtains are partial so everyone can look inside in the evening. It is extremely noisy as doors, walls, windows and floors transmit everything so every passing car, snoring neighbor or even just walking in the hallway wakes you up. Warm water takes several minutes.
The location, breakfast and the price.

HungaryThe rooms are old and many things are left out. Because of old windows the sounds from outside can be easily heard inside and it can get really annoying after some time. The kitchen basically doesn't exist. Old and not working. The carpet in the rooms are nice but really dirty and the cleaning is not the greatest. The staff(2 people I met) is really friendly even tho they don't speak English they tried to help with everything. There's no fridge or anything to store food. So if anyone want to stay, then I suggest either going out to eat or to not bring anything that can spoil.
Overall the place is very well located. You can get to most places easily even tho it might be a bit tricky because of train/bus changes. The city is beautiful and overall friendly people. The rooms are big enough

AustraliaI failed to read the small print....this Hotel does not accept Cards, only Cash (CZK or Euro), but this is the only hotel in Poland, Slovakia or Czechia that I have encountered in the last 2.5 mths that does not accept Cards! They need to join the 21st century and accept Cards . The hotel has seen better days, its tired. As as a town is down at the heel, only 2 places to eat.....
