The breakfast is old fashion, but rather reminds you DDR than aristocratic heritage.

The room is big and comfortable, easily accomodates two people with two big travel bags. Bit of a strange thing is the floor heating in the bathroom in July but it was still ok. There is no airco so the window needs to be open and there are many restaurants around so it can be a bit noisy at night (but so is every other hotel in that area). There is a big choice of breakfast items, everything freshly made. The hotel has their own private parking which is a big plus in the city. We couldn't try the spa this time but we'll be back next year then we try.

Hotel breakfast was not good. It may have been cultural differences but after our experience on the first morning we decided to avoid it every other day. A strange mix of foods and unfortunately (for us) none of it very tasty.

Good location, very close to bus drop off from the airport. A short walk to the 'old town'. Staff were very helpful. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes nearby

Just details: the room had a coffee kettle, but no coffee or tea was available (even impossible to buy at the reception desk).

It is a conveniently located hotel near the train station and bus stop and close to the city center. The room was quite recently renovated, but despite that, some details were worn out or not extremely well-planned.

The internet was slow and the staff did not have a good sense of direction. On our first day there, we asked the receptionist the best way to get to the Diana Tower. The receptionist told us to follow the river. We did. unfortunately he did not tell which way to follow the river so we got lost and ended up walking around the not so nice part of town trying to figure out where we were. Later a different receptionist almost gave us bad directions. Had it not been for my map reading skills we would have gotten lost a second time...AT NIGHT this time. The curtains in the room did not block out the sun and it shined right in my eyes and woke me up both mornings we were there.

The hotel was in an OK location AND it had parking! Most of the people were friendly.

It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the main part of town and the facilities there.

Lovely hotel in the grand old style. Great restaurant/bar attached with good food and helpful staff. Close to train/bus station and the shops in that part of town. Not as touristy as the main part of town, so restaurants are cheaper. Swimming pool with jacuzzi, saunas and spa treatments available.

Breakfast could be improved for sure, it was ok in terms of taste, but no variety at all. Would be nice if SPA area (saunas in particular) had longer working hours, at the moment it's impossible to enjoy them without sacrificing other activities.

Staff was helpful, kind and polite, even when we had unusual requests XD Room as well as public hotel areas were clean and neat. Location is also very good, there're 4 very good restaurants right across the street, few convenience stores nearby, and it's about ~10 minutes walk from the "main touristic street". The hotel also has it's own SPA area, although we barely used it.

Fair price, fair accommodation. Rooms are quit spacious, clean. The location is perfect - near shops, restaurants, river and promanade.

Very helpful staff in a centrally located hotel. We were lucky to find the hotel parking more by accident than good route planning. Located in pedestrian zone within easy walking of the springs and surrounded by restaurants.

Staff is okay, dont speak much english. Breakfast was okay too. Sauna is pretty small but usable. Massages are okiesh for the price. Swimming pool is small, but clean! Rooms was good and big with 2 WC.

Due to the Film Festival our room price had more than doubled an all parking spaces were taken. If your not interested in the Festival book an alternative date. It will be a much better price

We only stayed on night in Karlovy Vary. It was very busy due to the Film Festival being on. The hotel is a lovely old building which is finished to a high standard. The front desk staff were very friendly. There is a car park to the rear of the hotel. Breakfast is good.

Beside full SPA/Sauna area during 1st week in 2023 everything was fine and according our expectations.

We were suddenly charged a tourist tax as we were checking out. This is not stated anywhere, and I assumed it would be like most places that have either included it in their price or charged separately for it ahead of time. When you're leaving in a rush to get a train you do not appreciate adding a time consuming transaction unexpectedly.
