The site nicely blended into the environment of a historical ciry.

The breakfast was excellent. The hotel, the rooms are clean and stylish. The stuff is professional, helpful, kind and caring.

Fantastic location in a quiet, historic spot, and great breakfast. The old town is small, and Largo is close to most things. It's very close to the castle. We had a room on the ground floor, next to the remaining "cafe" space, where hotel guests have breakfast. We were there for the Five Petalled Rose festival, and one of the event locations was almost right outside. So we could just open the windows and watch. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the layout was a little awkward.

Room layout was a little awkward. This ground floor room used to be part of the cafe, when it was still functioning as a standalone business. This leads to some oddities, like a urinal in the toilet closet, and soap commercial soap dispensers. If you enjoy sleeping in late, there might be a little noise in the morning from other guests having breakfast, but it's not bad. The staff wasn't super helpful with helping us get a taxi out of town, but this was because the whole old town was mostly closed for the Five Petalled Rose festival, so cars couldn't come directly into the old town. Still, they just told us to call or email the taxi companies ourselves. We eventually figured out how to get a car to pick us up right outside the old town.

We liked everything about this accommodation. The staff was super responsive and friendly. The room was superb, so charming, comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast was also very good, and the location was excellent. I hope to go back and stay there again. I strongly recommend!

Location

Left a night early due to discomfort and poor handling of our concerns. The room lacked blackout blinds, so it was bright at sunrise. We were told to cover the windows with duvets — not a real solution. One window faced a dining area where people smoked and talked, making it hard to rest and leaving us with no privacy. The towels were old, the bin was broken, and the blind’s pull cord didn’t work. When we raised these issues, the response from the staff was dismissive, essentially telling us to deal with it. We asked for a refund for the unused night, but the owner said they'd only “consider it” if our review wasn't “too damaging.” That felt like blackmail — completely unacceptable behavior from a hospitality provider. I’m sharing this so others know what to expect. The location and the women serving breakfast were nice, but comfort and integrity are lacking!

The air conditioning on the top floor was not effective in the hot weather.

We liked breakfast in our room instead of the dining area.

We did not like the automatic lights and fans in the hallway and bathrooms. If your staying with 4 people the front room is directly next to the dining room and breakfast is from 8-10am

Locaton is just wonderful: this small family(?) hotel is in the very heart of Česky Krumlov, on the island in the curve of the river. Old town charms are everywhere around you, and you can reach all the famous sightseeing points within minutes. Romm was large, nicely equipped and quiet. Breakfast was moderate in choice options but decent.

No blockout curtains on the 2 large windows on to next doors courtyard and the automatic movement light in courtyard outside went off and on 14 times up to midnight, flooding the bedroom with light as we were trying to sleep!

Very responsive staff. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable shower and bed. We had a poor experience at the hotel next door (Krumlovská pohádka) and decided to book this one immediately. I believe this was a divine decision because everything here is perfect.
