Reviews of Hotel Leonardo 3 stars

Very central in historic area of Cesky Krumlov. Clearly a sensitively refurbished old property retaining the architectural splendour and charm indoors (exposed wooden beams, original staircase etc) whilst modernised for comfortable toilet amenities and new (but traditional look) windows looking over other beautiful buildings in this UNESCO heritage city. Our bed was low but very large and comfortable. The breakfast was in the adjoining hotel and was a perfectly adequate continental style although no toast was possible during our stay at least.

The hotel consists of two separate buildings. The 'Deluxe Room' shown on Booking.com includes images of a room with a rooftop terrace or balcony, which was a key reason we chose this hotel—especially as smokers who value outdoor space. However, the room we received was different, without any terrace, even though it was also labeled as a 'Deluxe Room'. We believe the booking process should clearly indicate which specific room you're getting, as this detail significantly impacted our choice.

Staircase does not have good enough lighting, especially when coming down.

Our room was large, and the view out to the old town was gorgeous. We wish we had the time to stay longer. Cesky Krumlov was a highlight of our trip. Hotel Leonardo made it even better.

Location

No A/C in unit #14 so windows were open and it was very noisy until late.

It was 100 ft from main square. It was in a centuries old structure and decorated in a wonderful style

Understandable it did not have ac but it came with a fan. The thick walls provided good insulation and I slept comfortably

The location was nice and most of the rooms were excellent. The breakfast was very good and they were accommodating.

The rooms in the back were very good, but room number 1 was really noisy because of the music bar. It is not the hotel's fault the bar is open until 4 a.m., but maybe better soundproofing for the room would help, as the person staying there was not able to sleep despite having a sound machine. Room 2 was better insulated, so there was not the same issue with noise.

It is located in the center of the small town. It is a building with a history of several hundred years. The interior decoration is very retro and the breakfast is good

There is no elevator.

Clean room with comfortable bed, central location, really cosy antic atmosphere.

Can hear some of the noises from the neighboring room (from the room upstairs), but not a tragedy.

The room was absolutely lovely, located literally in the city centre with easy access to everything. Loved our stay ☺️

I liked that the old style was preserved, breakfast, the staff is ready to help

step at the entrance to the bathroom, but I understand that there is nothing special to do about it

Everything was nice, breakfast was outstanding. Excellent value for the money. We will be happy to return.

Noise from outside the room. Water pressure in the shower. No parking, but that is the problem for all hotels in old town area.
