Some of the ceilings were a bit low and slanted. At the same time they were designed beautifully so not really a "con" just something to be aware of. 😊

The staff helped us to book a taxi from the bus station to the pension and back. They showed us all around the property upon check in and were very helpful. The space itself was immaculately clean and comfortable. Thank goodness this place has air conditioning! It was also a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Definitely a great place for couples or families. Rooms were spacious and breakfast was delicious!

We did find the hand shower very difficult to shower with. If you only like baths then the bathroom is fantastic

The location, equipment and cleanliness of the apartment were perfect. A well-furnished modern apartment has been created in the centuries-old building. The host's kind welcome and attention were above average. The private parking in the garden is very convenient and you don't have to pay extra for it. This is very rare near the old town. It was nice to stay here and next time we go, we will book here again.

A guesthouse in the very heart of Český Krumlov. The room was spacious and clean. The location is perfect — just a few minutes' walk to all the main sights, yet the area is quiet and peaceful. Everything matches the description on Booking.com.

The location was convenient to city center and attached parking was a huge bonus. Traveling with another couple, we had an enormous apt (living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) on ground floor and they had also had several large rooms upstairs (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) on first floor (there were a few stairs) but not very many. The host was gracious, welcoming, and kind… we wish we had more time to extend our stay because it was clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and the host cooked a delicious breakfast for us the next morning. We would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Krumlov!

I had such a lovely stay, specifically thanks to Emma. She was kind enough to let me keep my keys until later in the day so that I could get my bag later/use the pension to wait until my bus. We also had some great chats and she gave wonderful recommendations, which I really appreciated as a solo traveller. The pension is safe, a little outside of the main square (still on a 5 min walk), and clean. Would highly recommend!

Excellent pension located in a quiet part of town with parking. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Lovely Ema was very welcoming and friendly and made us a superb breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Pension Athanor.

One of the friendliest receptions ever, very personable and available to answer any questions and greet you to your rooms. Amazing location, quick walk to city center. The bathtub in room with bathtub is amazing and actually large enough for tall people! A rare find, perfect for relaxing after lots of walking. Very quiet area for sleeping. Amazing breakfast, thanks to hosts making it feel like a family breakfast at home. The friendly service was really the highlight.
