Our room was noisy in the sense that you would hear the people in the swimming pool below our room and the guests in the room next to us when they would talk. That is something I find utmost annoying when travelling - would have rated higher otherwise.

The location, staff, room and breakfast was all good. We rented bikes and could easily get around.

The room we were in had very very little sound insulation (also noted by other reviewers here), which resulted in us being woken up more than a few times by the children of other guests who were being very noisy and rambunctious. On top of this, the beds were pretty hard, and the bathroom for our room was in disrepair.

The staff of both the hotel and the brewery were exceptionally nice and helpful. I had a quite a few extra special requests which were all completely 100% fulfilled and made for a very romantic birthday weekend with my girlfriend! The bouquet of roses was beautiful, the decorations, the bottle of prosecco waiting for us on our arrival, it was a stay we will never forget! They even organized a couple's massage for us, and a birthday cake for our last night!

On arrival, the reception was a bit confused (maybe new or so), but didn't provide a good confidence and first impression. Nothing too wrong, just it cam be improved.

The position of plugs in my room wasn't really practical.

Nice location, perfect for enjoying outdoor activities in the surrounding of the lake nearby. Plenty of space in the parking, quite safe. Good facilities also for those cycling. Good value for money.

Hotel was nice, wellness and pool small but really it was enough. Room was smaller than we expected, but we traveled there to see country and to be at room, so it was alright.

Nice hotel, restaurant, camping area at a lake in the middle of nowhere - but still just a couple of minues away from Budweis. Nice, basic rooms, good food. Nice surroundings - we had a pleasant stay. BTW: If you thing Google send you the wrong way, it's not ;-) The location is located close to a lake with a bumpy small road. Just drive on and you will reach the correct destination...

Few things here: Sauna was OFF, water in pool quite cold. Room very small. Walls/Doors think, you can hear others. But the worst was the smell (toilet). They tried to cover it with air refreshers and open window. Did not work. They know about this problem... Beds basic, not very comfortable and noisy. Over all not worth the money. We had also dinner at the restaurant. And it was terrible. Huge portion of un-tasty expensive food + slow service. I do not recommend eating there.

Hotel location was nice. Checkin lady friendly. Our kids liked Iguanas terarium and playground. Free parking, Welness and Breakfast included.

When we arrived we went for dinner at the restaurant and after went to pay only to realise we were overcharged by 90kc. I came here on holiday with my English boyfriend so spoke English the whole time so therefore was then overcharged and the two rude unpleasant woman who overcharged us at the restaurant thought we didn’t speak Czech however as I do, I understood they were overcharging us simply over the fact we are “foreigners”. Would not stay again purely because of how unwelcome and stupid these two women made us feel. Don’t recommend to anyone. The indoor pool was also freezing so was not relaxing after a stressful day.

The room we had was lovely and clean, very spacious and comfortable. The lady on reception was nice and helpful with our issues.

The restaurant was closed at 20,20 even if the Reception said open until 21. There was nothing to eat, not even a simple sandwich. The guy in the Restaurant was not nice. The accommodation was outdated and did not seem clean. The shower flooded due to the drain was clogged so there was water all over the bathroom floor. Funky rug in the bathroom was not so fresh. Pillows horrible. Breakfast, well…gas station standard I would say. I expected a better breakfast.

Real story few days back that tells you everything about this place....we booked a morning sauna,noticed right away that they have electrical problem in the sauna department,no heat. informed the reception and left,on the check out day, theres accuses that you broke the stove,(finnish people using finnish stove),funny actually.anyway instead of compensating the lack of sauna there was accusations. +no proper english at the reception ,some jibberish between czech/german,so think again before booking !!and do not touch the door knob or the light switch,youll end up buying new ones,charming place

The radio is always on during the opening time in the restaurant. The roof is sometimes too close, one has to be careful in the bed.

Nice and calm place near Ceske Budejovice. One can check in from 2 pm and use the swimming pool, which was a lifesaver on a hot summer day. After that the cold local beer and the hearty dinner was perfect. The room was simple, but there was enough place for our stuff. The rooms in the attic can turn hot, but we could use the air condition.The bathroom was relatively big and clean. The breakfast was perfect too.
