Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Lithuaniathe receptionist spoke little English, so we couldn't get more than basic information. We arrived for one night on our way, but there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, which was strange for a hotel of this level
we arrived late in the evening, parking right next to the hotel was convenient, the room was clean, on the attic floor. The hotel location is great, right in the center of town. We had a delicious breakfast

PolandNothing to complain about. A shower cabin would be a nice touch in the bathroom, but that's just a minor comment.
Great location in a charming town of Lednice - in the heart of Moravia, close to the Austrian border. Spacious and clean apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and kitchen with dinning room. Ample parking lot right by the hotel entrance. Tasty and varied breakfast. Highly recommended!

HungaryThere was only one door between our room and the neighbour's, with a lot of noise, even the neighbour's snoring could be heard. There was no refrigerator. The receptionist did not speak English (but was very kind and called her colleague by phone).

Czech RepublicAt breakfast, the majority of the coffee machine functions didn't work (buttons were taped over). Orange juice was heavily diluted with water. There is no one in the reception after 8pm, we had to carry our room keys with us to be able to get back to the hotel. I had to book three rooms and I asked for them to be close to each other - they put one room at the very bottom floor and the two rooms on the third floor, each on the very far end of each wing. We couldn't be further from each other. I had to run between my mother and my two daughters across the whole hotel up and down left and right like a yoyo. There was no kattle/tea/coffee in my room. No soaps/shampoo/conditionar - just one liquid soap dispenser above the sink. Taking shower was messy. No windows in bathrooms, the ventilation kicked in only after the bathroom light was switched off.
Clean rooms. Breakfast was great, especially the home made "kolace" - carrot cake, blueberry cake, apple strudel. My kids loved crepes with nutella. And they also enjoyed the pool in the hotel backyard. Room windows had mosquito netting which was very useful in summer. Location was excellent. - very close to the center and the castle. The lady in the reception was helpful. It was ok for one night.

HungaryWhile this hotel is probably excellent during the summer season, it proved quite suboptimal for a midwinter stay. The apartment was warm (and the temperature could be adjusted separately for each room), but the corridors were unpleasantly cold, and the dining hall was also colder than optimal. The pool did not operate; the jacuzzi was outside the main building, in a rather underheated outhouse. The jacuzzi itself was excellent, our 4yo son also enjoyed it immensely. The downside was that we had to walk back to the main building in the freezing cold afterwards, so it is either that or an unreasonably long time spent on getting dressed, only to walk back to the room and get undressed once again. There is also a sauna, but it was not operating on the day of our arrival, and we had little chance to reserve it subsequently. And that brings me to the last but most central issue we had with the place. The wellness amenities (at least in December/January) must be reserved for personal use (we got a complimentary half-hour in the jacuzzi the first day, and that was it for us). There are 2-hour turns and these cost extra, while the timetable fills up extremely fast. And if you travel with a child, it is nigh impossible to plan ahead and make the proper reservation. Even if travelling as a couple, it may be challenging if you also want to do sightseeing in the neighbourhood. I think this makes the "Relax" in the name of the Hotel questionable – I repeat, our experience is for the period around New Year's Eve (Sylvester). The extra bed was rather untidy and, on opening it, we found several black hairs from a previous guest (I suppose). The staff were very kind but spoke extremely limited English. One gets the impression that this hotel is primarily for Czech (and presumably Slovak) guests, not so much for an international clientele. We did not try German, maybe that works somewhat better.
The hotel is located in a very quiet area some ten minutes off Lednice Palace on foot. The building is unassuming but well-equipped. The breakfast is really nice and varied, though the ground-floor dining hall is not too spacious and could easily get congested if several groups come at about the same time. The 8 to 10 time slot is acceptable, though it also contributes to potential congestion. There is a lift, which makes moving about the building even more convenient, while the insulation is good and the guests do not disturb each other. We had a bedroom + bathroom + kitchen with couch/bed suite, which was well-equipped; guests are encouraged to cook their lunch and dinner (electric stove, microwave oven, water boiler, dishes and cutlery). The location of the hotel allowed us to make a day trip to Brno and visit neighbouring attractions (Lednice Palace being top of the range, of course). There is a 24/7 Coop just around the corner and a food and department store run by Oriental staff opposite it, with an excellent selection of food, drinks, and small toys. Both were open on New Year's Day; the former in a self-service fashion, the latter properly staffed.

GermanyWe reserved a room with a double bed and single beds for the kids. The price we found a bit high, but given the location, the spacious room and the "fabulous" breakfast, we chose to book. The room had four single beds and barely any room to move about. It was located in the third floor directly under the roof, so in essence we could not stand straight, nor did the kids have any room to move about. The bathroom was tiny. It all would have been fine for half the price, but 130 euros?
The staff was friendly and the location great. The room was very clean, but cramped and smelled rather strongly of cleaned toilet.
