How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWe stayed at Judita apartments, and they are perfect!! You got everything there, and everything well maintained. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Staff - very pleasant. Be aware - in judita apartments there are elevator but there are several rooms that cannot be reached by one (like ours 55). And I had to carry a stroller on floor up and down. And there are no elevators in the regular rooms (judita is at separate building, next to the main one).
Although the location almost at the Charles bridge, it is too croudy and far from tram. If you prefer to walk, perfect location.

Verified reviewVery close to the "city" at the Charles bridge. Large, modern and clean appartement in the old house. Good breakfast. Good kitchen equipment.
Very very noisy in the morning. Delivery trucks came after each other daily starting 5.30 am for the shops and restaurants downstairs. Closed windows didn't help at all. Also, all pillows are too big.

Verified review- Great location: Right next to the bridge and conveniently located around a lot of bars. - Very modern apartment: it was redone recently it seems and looked really nice. - Daily cleaning
- The apartment is not soundproof, and we were woken up every day between 5 and 6am by the supermarket underneath that was receiving the boxes from the delivery truck (and it seems that they were throwing the boxes from the truck on the floor, as it was very loud). - The shades are not black out ones (they are inside curtains basically). So the bedroom was bright early (around 6am too...) It is a shame about the noise and light because otherwise the apartment is really amazing

Verified reviewWe loved this hotel. The hotel is incredible and we had a window overlooking the Charles Bridge. The bed was large and comfortable. There was beautiful wooden carved ceilings. The bedroom door closed to keep the bathroom and entrance separate. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was abundant with many choices. There was an air-conditioning unit to make the room more comfortable.
The room we had was small (but lovely) and it was a bit tight maneuvering around the bed.

Verified reviewGreat location.
Run down and could do with renovation. Bathroom and room small and cramped. No lift and steep stairs.

Verified reviewOn our first night, I came here to read reviews because I was confident we were the first people to ever stay in the Judita Apartment. Everything looked completely brand new and immaculately clean. I couldn't find a speck of dust or sign of wear anywhere. We weren't the first guests, and we also weren't the first ones to comment on the cleanliness. I've never stayed anywhere so clean! This place is beautiful! The apartment is very spacious and everything was comfortable. It's totally updated and modern, in contrast to the atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant, which fits the history of the area and Three Ostriches building. I absolutely loved this - enjoying the antique decor in the lobby and restaurant, and the modern cleanliness and comfort in our living space. Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed a couple nice dinners in the restaurant as well. The restaurant is quiet and cozy. The location is amazing! Right at the base of the Charles Bridge. There is a wonderful gift shop and art shop along the street outside of the Judith Building. If I'm ever blessed to come to Prague again, I won't shop around for a hotel. This will be my first and only choice! Thank you for a memorable experience!
No complaints, everything was great! One recommendation would be to add a full-length mirror somewhere in the apartment. There was only one smaller mirror in the bathroom.

Verified reviewOnly location and friendly stuff.
The separate apartment is quite far from the hotel. In every room was an automatic air-freshener, which didn’t make me feel good. The bed creaked, and my husband couldn’t sleep. The bathroom did not meet expectations. Everything looked very tired, not just old and dignified as it can be in an old house.

Verified reviewLocation was perfect, everything was within walking distance. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic 😋. Staff were really helpful.
Abit noisy with the traffic and vehicles in the morning and nights. Affects sleeping peacefully. Hotel should invest in double glazing the windows so the noise is controlled.

Verified reviewIt was very location, it was at the end of the Charles Bridge. The building is like a princesses' home. It feels like someone's apartment. It is beautiful.
There was a city tax to pay at Check-out. I didn't expect it and I had an uber outside with all our things to take us to the airport. Maybe it was stated at sometime and I forgot. I just don't remember.
Dera Sir/Madam, the information about the city tax is written in the reservation. Thank you for your understanding.
