Closer to a 3-star standard. As a communist-era block of flats, it may look a bit dissuasive from the outside, but the rooms are much better than this would suggest.

Located in the middle of the town, close to the most important places. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are air conditioned and rather spacious. The breakfast offers a good variety of food, including some sweet choices.

Based on pictures, I was expecting a bit better looking hotel. The pictures are very well taken and the reality is a bit different. Breakfast is regular, nothing special. Check-out until 10:00 is quite short, 11:00 would be great.

Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, receptionists were very kind. No noise around the room, immediate hot water in the shower. Regular hotel to stay the night in when you're travelling through or because of work.

excellent location , two bedrooms in one apt with shared bathroom worked great with friend. staff very helpful. sent out laundry and had back the next day as required by my friend. Very close to everything we needed in town.

The room was set up for only one person upon arrival, fortunately this was easy to resolve with the reception. The shower was slightly dirty (brown spots between the tiles).

Room was comfortable with enough space. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant offers a big menu for very affordable prices, the breakfast buffet was on the smaller side but there were all the basics, as well as fresh fruits and homemade mini pancakes.

U Ševce worked out well for me. Central, comfortable, convenient for eating and drinking although I didn’t go to the in-house restaurant. A comfortable walk to the Bata buildings. Zlín is a great town to visit if you like industrial architecture

Parking should be booked in advance, otherwise hotel may not provide it if fully booked. City parking around the hotel is complicated.

There is no lift! I was lucky because I stayed on the the 1st floor (not ground floor) and I have luggage 28 kg and if I need to climb with luggage up to 4th floor that could be “impossible mission”.

The room was quite hot and the fabric used on the bed caused a lot of static which is unusual. The breakfast also wasn't too great - not a big selection.

Location of the hotel was good located quite centrally in Zlin and a short walk from shops, transport links and venues. The staff were really friendly. There's only a few rooms at this hotel so noise and disruption is quite minimal.

Breakfast selection is a bit limited, no buffet only a selection of eggs and basic cold cut, ham and cheese. But this could be due to there not being many guests, at my time of visit. Scrabled eggs were great.

everything was great! Barbara on the front desk is very helpful. just beware, no elevator, and rooms 1 flight up from the ground floor. the breakfast place is one floor down from the ground floor. so each breakfast, one must go up and down 2 floors. not practical if you have any difficulty with climbing stairs.

Unfortunately I had a problem with my foot and the hotel has very low accessibility, stairs everywhere, so it was a little difficult for me. Would not recommend to someone with mobility issues.

The breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfortable with a lot of TV channel options. The staff was helpful when I needed assistance . About 20 minutes walking from the train station.
