A great place to stay in Telč. Wonderful beds, bathrooms, and facilities. The “ferocious” guard dog is the cherry on top. The man running the place is super friendly and even found us on the street when we forgot one of our items :)

Nice host, effective communication, convenient location. Free parking on premises. They let us park the car after checking out. It is only ~5 min walk to the central square. Simple but clean apartment with a vibe of a hostel or b&b. Would stay again.

A lovely spot near the centre of Telc, and very well equipped with a small kitchen, spacious lounge and and nice rooms. Michael, the host, is very kind and welcoming - it was bad weather when I was there and he gave me a lift to the supermarket and to the train station. One of the most comfortable places I've stayed while travelling in Czechia. Very good value.

The man who runs the place was very friendly! My wife and I were a bit confused where to enter at first, but a kind lady at a nearby shop across the street told us where to ring the doorbell. The owner's dogs also came out to greet us, but don't worry, they are super friendly as well, and are only barking because they are happy to see new people! They only take cash, not card, which my wife and I didn't know. However, the man was very understanding and told us where the closest ATM was. He made sure we were settled in first before we headed out to get the cash. The room was very charming, comfortable, and came with a nice modern style bathroom. Spacious kitchen area downstairs, with complimentary tea, microwave, and stove. Plenty of seats and tables for the guests. Also, they have a living room style lounge upstairs with TV and sofa for all the occupants. There wasn't a TV in our room itself, which was fine, since my wife and I could use their WiFi on our laptop. Some people may find the place too old fashion, but for the very cheap price it exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort! We would love to stay here again on future visits! There was nothing we didn't like. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay and are on a budget, this is a great choice! It's near the town center, so you're not far from food and sight seeing in the charming town of Telc!

The owner needs to invest in thicker mattress.A good mattress can last 15-20 years. My back hurts sleeping on it. The owner should invest in new and better quality towels (not worn out, grey-looking, used and old towels) and cotton bedsheets and pillow cases. The bedding linen has scratches, not soft to feel. Frankly the big size, unevenness, thinness of the pillows are impossible to have a good night's rest. Good quality bedsheets and towels are necessary for travellers' comfort and hygiene and constitute the basics of an accommodation. Please Check & Throw away EXPIRED food as travellers can fall sick eating it. Having cooking oil, salt, pepper, some sauces will serve the purpose of having kitchen facilities as travellers don't carry these on travel. Having non-expired tea, coffee, milk, sugar, will make travellers' breakfasts more pleasant and convenient.. These are not criticisms, but some suggestions for a more satisfying stay. Hope to find improvements in my future visit.

For ununderstandable reasons, the house has another number than was set in Booking info. The real house is in three buildings beyond the house with the number from Booking. It wasn't convenient to find the place by the wrong number.
