Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TaiwanThe hotel was excellent. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. The interior is very spacious and cozy, and it’s extremely quiet at night. The location is also ideal, with the main attractions within walking distance. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Rooms were way bigger than usual and super clean. As well as the inner courtyard is amazing if you just want to enjoy a drink peacefully or just relax. The breakfast was also amazing with a lot of options

United StatesThe shower was quite good except that the water pressure was very good only, but not excellent.
Excellent buffet breakfast. Hotel is located on a quiet side street, with only a 2-minute walk to the major street that divides the old town from the new town. That street contains many restaurants, minimarkets, and an excellent jazz club, all within a 5-6 minute walk from the hotel. Major tourist attractions in the old town are a pleasant 10-15 minute walk, but taxi and other commercial rides come to the hotel quickly, if desired. They are inexpensive, although we got ripped off by one taxi on a trip from Charles Bridge back to the hotel (not the hotel's fault). We liked the security of dropping off the room key at the 24-hour front desk when leaving the hotel. The bed was huge and comfortable. The room itself was quite large, as was the bathroom. The bathroom facilities were outstanding, aside from a minor problem with the shower water pressure. Everyone on the staff did all they could to be friendly and helpful.

IsraelI've been to Prague in September and April (in the past), and this is my first time during the summer (July). In the past, Prague was pretty cold but not too cold, but like the rest of Europe, they are not fully prepared for hot waves and peak temperatures. We arrived on a day that Prague experienced temperatures of 33-38 Celsius. I'll only say that it was a nightmare, the hotel did have A/C in the lobby and our room, but it wasn't cooling like I hoped for, we did manage to sleep well, but it could have been better. Also, the sink and the toilet sewage didn't drain properly. *Disclaimer, I didn't report any of that to the reception because it didn't bother me enough during the stay. (because in the past in other locations, the hotels didn't do anything during our stay, again, it's not directed to Unitas Hotel)
This is my 3rd time visiting Prague, and my 1st time staying at a hotel in Prague. Previously, I stayed in apartments that were not very clean, the facilities were old, etc. Because of my previous impression, I arrived at this hotel with minimal expectations, even though this is our 1st time staying in a hotel in Prague. Location: The location was amazing, not too close and not far at all from the tourist locations and shopping areas. The street of the hotel is one of the quietest areas I've ever been to in Europe. You can find a big supermarket and a great place for arcade games 3 minutes walk, also the tram line 22 that goes directly to the Prague castle is 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel. You can reach the Charles Bridge and the famous old town square within a 7-10 minute walk. Hotel: The reception staff is very pleasant and polite; they greet you every time you enter and leave the hotel. They gave us a nice welcome, a complimentary drink to smooth our "landing". The hotel has a proper luggage storage room and not some "weird" and random location where you aren't fully sure if your belongings are safe or not. The cleaning staff does an amazing job every day, leaving the room neat and clean with fresh towels and sorted beds. Also, you have a small fridge that is very nice to keep your water cool. The corridors are also very clean, quiet, and we didn't encounter any other guests who made noise, or at least the rooms are very acoustically that you almost can't hear noises. Breakfast: We used the breakfast services only 1 time (because we wanted to experience a lot of places we found before outside) During breakfast, there is a lot of room for the hotel's guests, the food is served nicely and clean, and the employees were very nice and asked multiple times if we wanted coffee or any other hot beverage.

United StatesWe were on a two month long trip, so had 4 suitcases. Although the room was large, there were not enough luggage racks or platforms to support all of the luggage. It's an issue no matter where one stays.
Quiet convenient location, breakfast, front desk staff.

Great location in a quite street opposite the police station but a 5 min walk at most in to the Old Town. The staff were so helpful and friendly, a nice touch from the hotel to offer a welcome drink upon arrival and iced tea and snacks in the afternoon.

AustriaIf anything, then the wifi didn’t work so well. We had to work a bit from the room and the connection was not super! But one shouldn’t work anyways when in Prague ;)
Well located hotel in the center of Prague! We got an upgrade and had a nice room looking into the quiet courtyard! The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly, we will definitely come back!

IsraelThe bathtub was high and a bit difficult to climb into.
It is peaceful quiet and relaxing on a quiet street right next to very active streets. The hotel had a comforting old feel about it but everything was well maintained and super clean. Apparently it was once a convent and after that it was headquarters for Russian secret police, I believe.

United StatesNothing. Everything was top-notch!
The front desk and breakfast staff made us truly feel like we were their guests. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine - a nice touch after a day of travel. The hotel is within walking distance to the river and to the main square, but on a quiet side street. And the hotel has a great history, too. Loved every minute of our stay.
