Extraoedinary castle hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. The park is a real gem around the building. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is very close to Telc.

The room wasn’t like the picture. At first glance you see a spacious room with a bathtub and with a bookshelf and with a couch sitting area - well, we didn’t get the bathtub in first try (it is our fault since we didn’t read the fine print that said it could also be a shower, but as I said, we were able to switch it), but the sitting area that is in the pictures - couch and bookshelves were nowhere to be seen. Also, when we left the ticket on the door for the room to be cleaned - only the sheets were ‘put together’ on the bed, the bathroom was not cleaned at all, no fresh towels, we had to go get them at the reception. All in all, it was an okay stay, but I don’t think it was worth this money.

The castle itself was quite nice, when we asked for a room with bathtub, the receptionist kindly switched it for us. The dinner was quite good, also the new years dinner was very good. The chef is really talented.

Renovated, clean and modern hotel located in an old castle - very nice combination. Superb restaurant (innovate food, great quality, tasty) with decent winelist. Very nice wellness facilities. Great location around for outdoor walks.

Our granddaughter chose the Zamek Trest to host her wedding this summer. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and located in a charming village. The central courtyard is a wonderful place to host any type of party. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The wedding event hosted by the hotel was just superb. The staff is very friendly and responsive to the guests. I wish that we had had enough time to enjoy the spa - - perhaps on another visit!

That we couldn't stay longer than two nights.

A beautifully restored Chateau in a perfect settings, a short walk from town, is surrounded by hundred year old trees, blooming scrubs, fountain etc. A short nature path around the chateau is tranquil and informative. A comfortable, large room, well appointed and with attention to details offered a relaxing sleep. A complete hot breakfast offered in a spacious dining room, catered by a friendly and helpful staff. A variety of cheeses, yogurt, fruits, bake goods, etc, will satisfy everyone, delicious.

The information map in the room only comes in Czech language, hence this is only accessible to the few capable of speaking the language.

The village itself does not offer much, hence I consider the hotel to be the highlight in the area. Great nature and ideal for walking or cycling. Lots of birds singing nonstop :) The restaurant may be run by different people as the hotel management. Where breakfast is good and choice is just sufficient, the restaurant offers excellent food and some staff even speak English.

A divided bed for a couple could be better - king size was not a king size. Temperature is adjustable slowly, as the thick walls take time to adjust the temperature, as one would expect in a castle like this.

Clean, refurbished historical building with great staff. We received a fantastic apartment with a 270-degree view of the castle and park. Very pleasant spa and spa treatments. Great selection of wines and food. Speed internet.

King sized bed was actually two Twin sized beds put together. The two mattress were sliding away from each other the whole first night which was very uncomfortable. But they fixed it for the following night after we asked them.

We stayed there after our wedding. They gave us the most beautiful room within Deluxe category. We had the only room with four poster bed. Very nice customer service. All our requests were fulfilled. Beautiful park right next to the castle. When we weren’t satisfied with something they fixed it which is one of the most important things for me as a customer.

the wellness prices - it’s fine to pay something but these prices were way too expansive. The restaurant needs to have more simple dishes as well as the menu they have. Many guests want the typical Czech meals cooked in the traditional way.The breakfast offerings could also be expanded.The makeup mirror in the room is not usable - it is too high for anormalste height female and it was also misty.No mirror over basin in second toilet.No tissues in bathroom which you would expect in a hotel of this rating.
