How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewLocation is good, there are two supermarkets within 5 mins walk and the main road. Also the city centre is close too. Best value for money in the entire area i think. Tried to book it for next year and it was full already, i missed my chance. Also i would mention the very good fact that they have a kitchen, fridge and freezer you can use for free.
The room was in the basement, extremely humid, you could not dry your clothes even leaving them for 3 days. Cleaning was average, but this is ok i guess for such a low price.

Verified reviewGood cheap place to crash a night when traveling. It's an old building with a small, but clean rooms.
Wouldn't exactly blame the accommodation, but our neighbors were pretty loud

Verified reviewA good hotel for a stopover on the road. Do not expect full comfort and service from the hotel, as the price corresponds to the quality. The hotel has its own small car park. Good breakfasts. On the ground floor there is a shared kitchen with a set of utensils and a fridge.
The hotel rooms have not seen renovation for a long time. Quite old furniture in the rooms. Very cramped and uncomfortable room, narrow toilet. But all this corresponds to the price of accommodation.

Verified reviewWe liked the town.
We didn't get the room we booked and paid for. Instead of a room with a private bathroom, a bacony and a double bed, we got 2 single beds in a shared room and shared bathroom. The host didn't share this information with us until the transaction was made and left us no choice. Also, the bathroom was awful and unclean. We felt cheated and it ruined our stay in Czech Republic.

Verified reviewDecent price for value. Free parking.
It was hard to find anyone in the reception when we arriver, but after few minutes someone appeared. There was also no lights in my room and bathroom when we woke up the next day. I tried to tell about it to a person in the reception, but it was still closed. When I made a phone call I was told, that no one will fix it before the cleaning staf apear in the hotel (about 9 a.m.)

Verified reviewGreat stay, fair price
Don't expect miracles in this budget. Rooms tend to look a bit old, but anything else is more than fine

Verified reviewIt was secluded and very quiet. There was a kitchen available for all guests
I did not like the smell of a pool, the ancient-regime vibe. We didn't have normal-size towels

Verified reviewStaff was friendly and was trying to do their best to address our requests/questions (e.g., two light bulbs malfunctioned and we had to ask for them to be replaced and staff replaced them). Breakfast was a very good value for money (scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, bread, butter, pate, coffee).
Given the total cost, I would say that all items below can be disregarded, but still from a 3-star hotel you would expect certain things which this hotel didn't have: - There was no heating in the room at all in mid-October (outdoors at night temperature fell to +4 C). We had to ask for additional blankets and had to sleep under two heavy blankets each. It was freezing in the room. - The hotel provided no soap, no shampoo, no kettle to boil the water, no tea, no coffee, no fridge, no chairs/sitting area/sufficient wardrobe in the rooms, no bottled water, no slippers. - The hotel had no room service (we stayed 4 nights and they did not change our towels even once, we ran out of toilet paper, the garbbage bins were all full and no one emptied them in 4 days). - No reception outside of 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. time window. We had to communicate via messages on Booking. The hotel was almost empty at night. - Walls were super thin in the building, so it was quite noisy from the neighbours/hockey sport club in the building. - Beds were uncomfortable. - The room was really small and was missing minimum furniture like chairs to sit on.

Verified reviewA nice place, feels kinda like visiting a school but everyone was friendly, room was clean, in general it's not a bad choice if you are looking for a place to stay for one or two nights for a good price. Breakfast was great. In general it's not very fancy but it's good enough.
