We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomLast day the light in the bathroom broke, which was a nuisance but we were packing to leave anyhow. The shower pressure was great but the shower head holder was flimsy and broken which made having a shower interesting. Not really up to date (no USB charger sockets) Very small tv and bed side lamp didn’t reach the socket.
Good location in the centre of Zatec square, and the room was nice and warm sometimes even a little too hot.

United StatesThe rooms were older but clean, though light switches could use more attention. Night lamp cable did not reach the plug so couldn't turn it on. Elevator was sketchy, had to press button from the outside to let people out.
Staff was pleasant. The hotel is in old building, lots of stairs, rooms are small but overall we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast selection was good. Free parking was convenient, right at the front of hotel with disability spot which we needed.

IcelandHotel reception moved to a difreand location and breakfastto. Fire Alarm went of during the night and noeone did anything. Otherwise the breakfast was actually good and good service 👌

PolandThe hotel is located in the city centre, and the price—to—standard ratio is excellent. The room description on booking.com is precise. A fantastic breakfast was included in the room price. It is a good choice for staying when travelling on business and as a tourist.
