This is a great rooftop apartment option with a view over the city and the neighbourhood. The keyless access is convenient and I appreciated the advanced communication by the owner regarding access and key codes. The apartment is located on the fourth floor without elevator access. Be prepared to climb stairs to access the property. The stairwell is wide enough to carry your luggage. My teenage sons and I travelled via train. Public transport connections are ample and readily available within short walks in either direction. We came to see the Mercedes and Porsche Museum primarily but stopped to soak in the nearby Leuze Mineralpools. Very relaxing after a day of exploring. While walking though the neighbourhood to access public transport we found “Viertel” the local restaurant and wine bar and decided to make this our dinner stop. They offer a very cozy, low key, unpretentious atmosphere with a small but good variety of choices and regional options. Service is friendly and can be a bit slow when the place is busy. However, if you are looking to immerse yourself in a bit a local neighbourhood experience then I recommend this place.

The downstairs sleeping arrangements are functional and clean but a bit ‘campy’. Something you’d expect if you stayed at your mates house. In our case it was perfect for my teenage son.
