great location and super helpful, friendly staff. nice beergarden with local food the sports facilites are small but top notch

please clean the rooms more efficiently. we had two spiders and small worms. the pillows were too bad which impacted our sleep also would be good if the blankets and towels are thrown away (replaced).

it is a very nice hotel; on the first floor where we stayed the rooms are large and relatively well insulated (it was a very warm day when we arrived). Good facilities (incl wellness area - not used). The location is very nice (next to an old church/ex monestary) in a nice small town close to Wurzburg. Breakfast was excellent. .

The staff in general did their work well/professional, but there was in general a certain coldness in the atmosphere. As example when we checked out, typically the person from reception mentions: Thanks for staying and I hope you had a good stay with s (or something like that); but here nothing: (just thanks for giving the keys). Maybe management should try to train the staff a bit more towards customer friendliness/behaviour.

Ideal location in the wine region, featuring Apfelbacher Weingut wines. Wonderful and delicious breakfast. Nice beer garden area in warmer weather.

They gave us an English menu at dinner time. But the dishes they described were not dishes described on the German menu. Saurebraten does not translate to Beef Cheeks. We used the German menu that also had the drink menu. Please throw away the English menu and start again.

We booked a room for 4 people as a stop on the way home. The hotel area is very nice and beautiful, especially the restaurant area with a glass roof and a lot of flowers, the room also offered an entrance to the garden area. There were enough free park places, belonging to the hotel. The breakfast was also very tasty. The room was clean, wifi is available - everything that we needed. Hotel also provided extra baby bed for a small kid (12 EUR).

There is no air-conditioning, which was ok in our case, as the night was not warm, but could be an issue during hot summer. Also, the bedsheets have seen their better days, although everything was clean.

The location was quite and peaceful.

The hotel is an authentic family-owned inn close to the fairylike city center of Dettelbach. We received a very warm personal welcome and felt at home immediately. During breakfast, the owner came in for a personal chat with all the guests, which we greatly appreciated. Unfortunately it was too cold to have dinner in the cosy biergarten. Nevertheless the food tasted good (Both dinner and breakfast). The room was simpel but clean.

The furniture is a little outdated. The restaurant offers many (vegetarian) dishes, however on Friday night you can only choose from the grill menu which greatly diminishes the options.

Only stayed for one night. Came late and left early next day. The staff however was very welcoming and served us dinner even though the kitchen had closed shortly before our arrival. Breakfast was good too with lots of choice

Our rooms were located on the backside facing residential houses, and unfortunately there was a loud teenage party until around midnight. The room was hot and because of the noise we did not sleep so well with the windows closed. The rooms and beds were good though

Endless options for a healthy breakfast. We loved the proximity to Sommerach and Volkach where we had a family reunion.
