Room was outdated. We had a balcony but were unable to access it unlike the other rooms because the hotel sign prohibited it.

The breakfast was amazing. Location was gorgeous with a restaurant right next door. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Too noisy to get good sleep. Located in front of railway tracks and made worse by having a busy and noisy beer garden & restaurant as a neighbour. Those who drank too much will even pee in the hotel car park. The beer garden closes at 10 pm, but the noise from the railway tracks and main road in front of the hotel will ensure you wake up some time in the night from poor soundproofing.

The hotel was very rustic. There was only a single pillow and towel per guest, no air conditioning, and no staff after 8 p.m.

The breakfast was great and the location was more central than expected.

-Convenient location for visiting Konigssee. -Beautiful balcony in the 5-person room. -Outstanding breakfast with high-quality butter and a wide variety of choices. -The breakfast service was provided by a friendly and attentive lady.

Hotel is just on a side of a main road with constant traffic. If you need to keep the windows or balcony door open it's very difficult to sleep. (there is no fan or air-conditioning) Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable as well. Unfortunately there was also a set up for some beer party or something just under the baloney which caused a lot of extra noises for the last 2 days from 7am to set up tents and carry tools around, we weren't informed by this which it was disappointing.

Friendly and nice staff. Beautiful and big balcony facing the mountains. Room was reasonably good size with safe box. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Supermarket,pharmacy, bank and few restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very good access to Berchtesgaden or other villages by bus or train. Nice shower and clean bathroom. The tourists card from the receptionist helped us a lot to get around as a free bus pass.

There was a slight damp smell in the room, which was also like an European university dorm room: Bed small, narrow and not comfy.

Pillows need changing. They were the most uncomfortable pillow that my fat head has ever graced and were just not good. For context, they compress to nothing and the shape falls flat and uneven no matter how I adjust it. Settled for my hoodie instead. Also mattress’ weren’t the best but the pillow made me forget that.

They provide traditional Bavarian breakfast: Weßwurst + Prezel. There is fridge full of beers provided for reduced cost at the reception. A good pub/restaurant in the direct neighborhood (Wieninger beer). Wonderful mountains in the view.

In our room there was a lack of curtains (by the round window) to black out the room. The bathroom was perfectly fine, but there wasn’t a proper shower, only a bath.

We got a free upgrade from the family-room to the apartment. This was very spacious and we had a balcony. In general it was a clean and spacious. The breakfast was well taken care off, it was full off options.

there is no on site restaurant, more asmall cafe type area for breakfast. However, there is a reasonable restaurant next door.

the rooms were good and the staff very helpful. The breakfast on-site was good. It is located across the road from the station, which wasn't noisy, making getting into Berchtesgaden quick and easy.

Lovely hotel near Bertchesgaden. We were traveling with 11 people and the hotel graciously gave us 2 family rooms. It had been quite hot during our time and the rooms were warm when we went to bed. But it cooled off during the night. The receptionist was very helpful and suggested a place for dinner. We loved staying in this quaint mountain hotel.

The hotel is in convenient car distance from Berchtesgaden. The facility offers good parking and the room was clean and spacious. A real highlight was the breakfast that was very fresh and offering a wide assortment - top!

Not the hotel's fault, but too many smokers on the balconies mean the windows must remain closed. Close to the road and rail, so a little noisy, but these were minor complaints.

Breakfast was fantastic. Location was super convenient to Eagle's Nest, Salzburg, and Konigssee. Staff was super friendly and helped with late arrival. Great restaurant next door. We would stay again!

This was a really nice hotel that had a lift, which was a godsend as I had some luggage off my motorcycle and I was on the first floor. The room was really nice too. Breakfast was great too. On the two nights that I stayed there, there was music outside in the restaurant, from 2 different brass bands playing German music. It was brilliant to listen to, and was a great atmosphere too. I loved it.

our room was close to live music at bar next door which was load and typical German with lots of whooping and stamping. I did not enjoy this intruding in my evening. limited options for restaurants. Only one next to hotel
