There was an open air festivity one evening across the street wirh terrible, loud unmitigated music. I wouldn't. have mind if the tuned down around-say- 11-12pm. But they continued till 4am , rendering sleep impossible. That was a bit rough. Not the fault of the Hotel though. Guess unlucky Timing.

Spacious, newly equipped and very clean family rooms (1 double bed and two single beds across two separate bedrooms). Lots of quality options for breakfast ranging from hot breakfast, yogurt, bread cake and pretzels, cheese and meats as well as lots of fruit. Good location not too far from Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden and Konigssee, great for day trips.

The shower was making funny noises but it was just a detail, rather somethig to laugh.

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful little village with great views to the surrounding mountains, a spacious room, breakfast with a huge choice, rich and delicious dinner, nice staff. Everything was perfect, I can only recommend this hotel.

Not having air-conditioning and a ceiling fan installed in the room and not providing a refrigerator is a No No this days. Especially in times of climate change people need cool drinks - in the night as well! I am surprised the hotel management missed this basic needs. Smoking in the hotel is hopefully not allowed. I don't know, because Alpenglueck has two days "Ruhetag"! Unfortunately the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. But, people were smoking outside in the beer garden area. I think smoking near the hotel should also be prohibited! It is disgusting to see how people killing themselves with smoke in their lungs.

Location is perfect. Our room was even a little suite. It had a kind of a little living room area with a desk. Just cute!

The rooms were updated in wondeful bavarian modern style. Bathrooms updatedand walk in showers. Very clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good.

After a long day of traveling, some bad weather and traffic jams along the way, we arrived shortly (i.e., minutes) after the kitchen had closed for the day (8.30pm). Although we had booked half-board and, earlier that day, indicated an arrival time between 8 and 9pm via Booking.com, we were told there was no dinner since "everything has been cleaned already" and we could drive to the pizzeria in the neighboring village.... Fortunately, the receptionist refunded the cost of the dinner the next morning. Still, a phone call and perhaps a bite to eat kept for us would have gone a long way the day before.

We were a family of four staying in one room for one night on our way to the south. Nice room, very clean, great breakfast. Staff was friendly.
