I was hoping to try the local Milk(esp. Schwarzwaldmilch products) at Breakfast since they served cereals, I haven’t seen one. But I didn’t bother to asked though if they have it. 😉

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect.

This is such a fantastic hotel. The owners are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever known making our stay very special. A big thank you to Max and Christof for being the best hosts. Great location in a lovely peaceful valley not far from restaurants and all the sights. Lovely breakfast and very comfy beds. Our son had a double bed to himself. We can't wait to return.

Chess and the pool.

This place is located in a beautiful location. The staff / owners were so nice and helpful. There is a very nice play area for kids and adults inside the hotel itself. Breakfast was really nice. Really worth the price !!!

We are a family of three and stayed in this guesthouse for six nights. Our flat was large and comfortable.Max was very kind and gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what to see in the black forest. He was very hospitable. The breakfast was good also, there were no croissants or home-made cakes, but everything was good. We will come back another time.

Our kids didnt really enjoy the outside pool. Water was pretty cold (August) and they said the water had a bad taste. The game rooms really make it great to stay with kids but we'd have appreciated some more utilities in the room, maybe a microwave and kettle would be great. Also WiFi didn't really work a lot of the time.

Rooms looked good and were very clean in every way. Shower room was well equipped with many high end items. Water in the showers was good. We really enjoyed the games rooms, played ping-pong and billiard every day, it was fun! The drive up to the cottage was always stunning! Breakfast was really good!
