The hotel is located in a very beautiful area, perfect for relaxing. The place is clean and nicely decorated. We had a small issue during check-in, but thankfully, a lady from the bar was very helpful, even though we had a language barrier. We would definitely consider coming back!

Perfect place to stop and enjoy nearby town. Clean and modern facility.

The pin to door on the booking app was wrong and couldn't get to property for about 20 mins , eventually lady from across the street heard us and called us back to give the correct pin.

It was the second time we’ve stayed here, both times we’ve used it as a good place to stop en-route from the UK to PL or vice versa. The family room we stayed in was ideal for our needs. The hotel and setting are very nice indeed. We’ve been for a couple of walks around the nearby lakes and woods and it’s a v nice area. The breakfast was brilliant the first time, and v good the second - but not sure it’s quite worth the price, especially when you’ve got kids. We ate in the evening in the adjoining restaurant - informal, but great dishes and friendly service - really nice cakes available too. Nice local beer in the room fridge - and also served in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again (maybe for longer - as the surrounding area appears to be lovely) and also recommend to others.

Breakfast price for kids a bit steep perhaps.

Location is absolutely perfect, and the building itself enchanting. The building was warm and clean. Excellent WiFi.

Our room (7) had no view at all - two very high ceiling velux-type windows, and lower windows which were more or less blocked by a marquee outside. This combined with the style of furniture and the flooring (which looks like concrete) made the room somehow depressing. The bathroom was a large wet room (open shower). Wonderful for those who need handicapped facilities, but for us very impractical, especially as the only place to hang our clothes/coats was in the bathroom. The feeling was reminiscent of a youth hostel. I caught a glimpse of a room on the other side of the corridor, it looked lovely, and much cosier. I wished we had had such a room. The hotel advertises tea and coffee making facilities, which I expected to be a kettle or coffee machine in the room, as in all the other hotels we stayed in this year. Actually this was the coffee machine downstairs in the breakfast room, and any drinks there were chargeable.

The location is great and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. I love coming here with my children, as the family rooms are comfortable & safe, there is a large playground, and the breakfast is very child-friendly. Staff at breakfast is super friendly and helpful.

At arrival there is no staff and check-in needs to be done online. It took several attempts to finally get my room key, as the system blocked. Travelling alone with two small children, this is not very comfortable. Paying online didn't work either and is only possible with credit card. There is a wonderful Biergarten, but food can only be ordered until 6 pm. I was just in time to order the last Flammkuchen (10 minutes spare...), otherwise I would've been left without food, again, while travelling alone with two small children. The pillows are rock-hard and very uncomfortable.

This is an extremely tasteful conversion of a barn belonging to an old monastery. The barn is a large building which many retained original features. The conversion has provided rooms at perfect scale and with very good facilities. The furnishings are attractive and everything is of high quality. We ate at the in house restaurant and enjoyed local beer whilst our child played in the very good playground. All the staff were very friendly and kind We loved the surroundings of the old monastery, with space in a rural area. It was lovely and quiet and visiting the church is a must. Attention to detail was evident everywhere. House, surroundings and historic building everything was spot on.

Struggling to find a negative. There was a tiny bit of rust on one of the bathroom fittings.

Our stay was fantastic, the room was clean, pretty, spacious, with lots of natural light. It has an A/C which is great for the potentially hot german summers The breakfast was fantastic, assortment of hams, cheese and bread, salmon and you can ask for eggs. The location is really beautiful, right next to a 600 year old Monastery. It also has a beer garden with a nice area for kids to play.

The pillows were not good at all so thin, that is the only complaint I have
