It was very difficult to find any staff member when checking in and checking out. This was not convenient as I was in a big rush when leaving.

Well located hotel at the lake in Tutzing. Very short walk from centre of the town. Comfortable bed and suitable for a night. Nothing massively special.

My stay did not start well because the desk lady who I had met before check-in forgot to leave my bedroom key in the locker box; I was thus left with no room and no luggage (the lady was sweet enough to offer to bring it to my room earlier) at 9pm and 0°C outside. Luckily the hotel/restaurant tenant could be reached by phone and eventually solved the problem. The blanket was too thin for the very cold temperatures but luckily I found my own way to get a second blanket and all was fine.

The room, though rather small and with many furniture, was clean and warm and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom/shower was very clean. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The beautiful and peaceful view on the lake was a real plus.

The bathroom was fairly dated but clean. There were no fridge or coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and no room service so could not even order a coffee. Wifi not great For the price of the room it was not value for money compared to the various other hotels we stayed at during our road trip.

I had a room on the ground floor in the main building in which you either close the curtains and have no natural light or anyone can look into your room and see your stuff. The building is quite old and not renovated, the room was modern and well equipped though.

Vert friendly staff. Well located hotel with a nice view on the lake. Good that they also have a restaurant. Decent breakfast.

the family room was two rooms- one with bed and one with sofa bed. For a family it would be better if the sofa bed was a bunk bed or 2 sml singles . otherwise nice to have 2 rooms

I didn't like the internet.

I liked the stuff's attitude towards guests, especially the receptionist is so kind and friendly. Besides, I think all the facilities were good enough; however, the internet was extremely weak, so that was the only problem I have confronted at the hotel.

Unfriendly staff and very limited room cleaning. Not all rooms had AC, nor is there a play area for kids that was advertised.

Well, where do I start... The hotel is advertised as "beachfront". Take a look at my photos. That's the "beach". Do you like it? Do you feel like swimming here? Take care not to stumble over the cordon or bump into one of the boats moored here. When we asked the staff about the beach (prior to seeing it) they laughed at us loudly and told us pretty literally the above... The brochure in the room actually advertises that strip of gravel as a beach though. But yeah, sadly it is known that my home state of Upper Bavaria is probably the only place on earth where being rude to guests is celebrated as culture. The breakfast is the next hugely overrated facility here: we arrived around 9:30 am. The scrambled eggs (that and some greasy sausages and bacon being the only "hot" items) were gone. We asked the staff to replenish them but they said it takes 40 minutes to prepare some new egg, so they wouldn't bother anymore, we should come back tomorrow. Breakfast is until 10 am - and who takes 40 minutes to scramble eggs? Lastly, if you do stay here bear in mind that the parking situation is a catastrophe here. You cannot use the surrounding roads for parking because they are really narrow and/or parking is prohibited and the hotel parking lot is always very crowded. The bottom line: I've seldom been to a more overpriced place. The staff let you know quite plainly that you are welcome to spend but otherwise a nuisance to them.

Price but that’s to be expected for lakeside location. Shared bathroom in hall but again what I booked so not a surprise … just last option.
