How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Lovely little hotel, very conveniently located between the train station and the old city. Super clean, comfy bed, welcoming receptionist. Having luggage storage is also very convenient if your train is a bit later when your check-out

The shower was small and only a curtain. Water goes everywhere with the handheld shower head.
Good location, felt safe, and very helpful staff! Would stay again!

Parking in the hotel garage is for extra price, parking in the street is not possible at or close to the hotel.
Nice staff, great location (a short walk from the old town), clean room, everything as promised.

Our room faced the courtyard and there were groups of people sitting outside our window talking in the evening.
Very friendly, helpful personnel. Spacious room on the ground floor. Excellent breakfast.

The room was very small, and not very comfortable. It's fine for a one night stay, but if you're planning a longer visit or have children, I wouldn't recommend it due to the limited space.
The room was clean and well located. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only a short walk to the city center with many nice restaurants nearby.

Nothing specific I didn't like, everything was pretty basic it's kind of more of a hostel than a hotel.

The locals tend to gather for late night drinks and chats in the courtyard which can be frustrating if one is desirous of sleep. The shower recess was confined as was the single room but the price is reflective of this.
The hotel is small with fairly basic facilities but it is also affordable and well-located, only a five minute walk from the train station. Wi fi was excellent and easy to connect. The staff members were friendly and helpful. At least two supermarkets are within a five-minute walk. A reasonably good breakfast is available at a reasonable price of €12.50 though eggs are the only hot food served. The staff were willing to store some drink needed for medical reasons in their kitchen fridge which was helpful.

Good location for train station - a short walk to the centre of town. Clean and unfussy. Staff were great. The cold drinks fridge at reception is great.

Good location and clean. Very hard bed. Small room. They said they had parking but it was full so we had to find our own parking. Shower head disfuntional.

The hotel is sort of "old-style," which some may not exactly like. The location is not really walking distance from the main sights.
The room was generally good. The breakfast was also fine.

The milky glass slide door of the bathroom. Even if I share a room with a partner I would like to be able to fully close the bathroom door. Also since the room was that small and it was two people in the room, I woke up in the middle of the night, having to open the window for a few minutes cause the oxygen felt used up. Which is alright but in winter that can get pretty cold.
Easy to reach from the Train Station and easy parking on the Main Street close by. The room was small but comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent! Heating worked nicely as well.

Lacking a few little things like a fan/aircon (not uncommon for Europe) and no fridge /kettle in room
Perfect location if travelling by train, friendly staff comfortable sheets . Lift access is very handy!
