It’s relatively new building

We had a terrible experience at this hotel, never before had such a terrible situation in my life in any hotel in the world. 8:30 in the morning a man ( probably housekeeping staff) was knocking on our room door and started entering a room shouting check out! We were only waking up, still in bed. The check out time was noon. There is absolutely no excuse for this behaviour, I felt so upset about this! The woman at the reception was only able to say a “sorry “ to me. Very disappointed.

Good location very close to the bauhaus museum. Easy to park the car in the vicinity of the hotel

Very small rooms. Rooms have only completely opaque curtains. You are either in darkness or you are completely exposed to the building across the road, which in our case was very close - so no privacy at all. Breakfast is very poor - the coffee machine even broke down - and the breakfast room is way too small for the number of guests in the structure. At some point of the night some stink started coming out from the ventilation system in our bathroom.

Not nice people at check in and check out

Location was strategic, near restaurants and shopping mall. It was quite and with good view.

Breakfast was good if you stay for short time, but for longer stay you need to have more opportunities in the menu.

Nice too find somewhere clean and hospitable, staff helpful. Bathrooms good. Did not have breakfast, so can't comment.

Pretty standard chain hotel - rooms are modern, clean, practically furnished, everything new, nice bathroom, with decent size shower not, located in the centre of town, restaurants, 3 cafes, shopping mall, bakery etc. are also very close. Staff was friendly, even offered us a coffee when I asked if we could get one without having breakfast. You can book breakfast, prices are fair, 12.90 for adults, 5.90 for children. The room is good for a short stay, maybe 1-4 days. It's good that they have family rooms, which other hotels don't offer. There are also parking spaces for a fee, or you can part in front or around the market square (cheaper). We would come back when visiting Dessau.

Reception closed 2 hours earlier than stated in the evening so there was no one around to assist. We tried to buy drinks and snacks from the machine but only had a few coins, so got 2 small drinks only. When aiming for a self-service system, everything needs to work smoothly. Having one vending machine with a few snacks and drinks that only takes coins isn't gonna cut it. I recommend to add a couple more vending machines for coffees and perhaps some healthier things like mueslibars or small breakfast pastries, smoothies, yoghurts etc. and everything should be cashless and even better if reception could double up as a snack and coffee bar. The price for our room was OK but could be better or the hotel could have more special offers on.
