No way this is a 4 star hotel, not even an electric kettle in the room or in the lobby. Restaurant Kitchen closed before 9pm when I arrived. Unfortunately all the local restaurants nearby also closed by 9. Also, the price is way above what I would pay for this (I expected a typical 4 star hotel when I booked).

Good location and next to the road towards Fussen and the castles.

The staff was inattentive to customer needs. We were a group of 6 guests with 6 different rooms and knew the hotel offered restaurant service. However, upon checking in after 8:30 PM, we were informed that the kitchen closed at 8:30 PM, with no possibility of even a cold dish (cheese, cold cuts, or anything else), only beer to drink! When we asked for some bread so we wouldn't go to bed hungry, we were told that all leftover bread is thrown away after 8:30 PM! Unbelievable.

Strategically located for visiting Füssen and Neuschwanstein Castle. The property is a bit dated but offers good services. The rooms are large and clean, and the breakfast is very good and varied

We didn't feel overly welcomed by the staff on reception and at dinner, showed us to a table in an empty separate room from approximately 7 or 8 other couples/ families when there were plenty of other tables in the main room. We were travelling by motorbike and so didn't have clothing for fine dining is all we could put it down to.

Only issue I had was WiFi connection was quite poor in my room unless stood by the door near the main corridor.

Great hotel with amazing breakfast with fresh crepes and large assortment of breads and pastries. Perfect location not far from Neuschwenstein castle and other attractions.

The style is a bit “confused” very nice and modern Bavarian style for the restaurant, but the rest of the structure in the common areas seems a bit too old.

Perfectly located to visit Neuschwanstein Castle. They are Pet Friendly for both dogs and cats, which is not so common, in the area there are hotel that can accept dogs but not cats, I am wondering why they still make this differentiation

Hilarious shower control - like a comedy sketch - the shower tilted/moved and sprayed the whole bathroom uncontrollably. My partner did the same - we had an excellent laugh!

Very wide spread breakfast, lovely atmosphere, brilliant service and very helpful in every way. Special booking of a barrier free bathroom was organised and easy to access shower.

Not a lot of parking.

The view of the mountains and having the patio. The quaint old style yet clean and all the amenities. Excellent breakfast. Loved the pool and wished we would have had more time with it!

We had a great one night stay at Hotel Bannwaldsee. Room was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and ordered the steak. We have been travelling in Switzerland & Germany for three weeks and I can say was the best meal so far. Beer was also excellent. Thanks

Offer about room service at 08:30, before going to breakfast and check out that day . A little bit crazy.

The annex area where we stayed was outdated and felt like a dorm area. The rooms were not as advertised.

The main building must have been recently renovated, it was so nice and the breakfast area was beautiful, clean and new with such a nice breakfast spread.
