Entrance was not clean. Room was OK. Bathroom was clean. No facilities at all in the room. Price was high for the provided service. I ordered a big size bed. In the reception, I got a single bed room. However, I asked for the big size bed room as requested. Then, I got the requested room

Mattress is old and the towels are old and very small. No soap in the bathroom. Not all staff speak English.

The location is good and the area is very quiet. The hotel is exactly as you'd expect. Very simple, nothing fancy but ok for a short stay.

The hotel looks a bit old, and the furniture needs and update. The pillows and matress were not confortable. It has no AC, so in the hotter daysay be difficult to sleep.

The staff is friendly, although not all speak English. The breakfast is simple, but is diversified and with fresh products. The location is very quiet, with a bus stop in front of.it, supermarkets and restaurants within a 10 minutes walk. The room had a perfectly working fridge, which was very handy. The internet was fast and steady.

Single rooms are very small. There was only one single use package of shampoo, but possible to request more. Arriving after the reception is closed left me without wifi connection the first night. The instructions to connect were not in the room.

No tea/coffee making facilities, rooms at the very top of the building, with lots of steps before even locating the ancient 'elevator', despite my stating I needed to be near a lift due to my age (76) uncomfortable single beds with substandard bedding, and an unfriendly bordering on rude 'cleaner', who miraculously appeared on our last night

No sitting/lounge area fir relaxation. Ineffective curtains (don't fit the window) Awkward lift/stairs layout. Very expensive for such a primitive facility. Decor is as pleasing as a prison.

Our ONLY reason for selecting the hotel was it's convenience for our needs. Staff very friendly.

Reception is not open in the evenings. On my arrival the the room key was to be collected through a key box/safe. The code I was given to collect my key did not work. But the help was arranged quickly and there was no real discomfort. Staff attended hotel within one minute of my call and helped me. Thank you.

Hotel was clean and staff ready to help. Room was spacious. Bed comfortable. I stayed on 5th floor with window facing the back yard. I left window open. There was no noise from outside. Each night was really quiet which you do not get often if you are staining within a town.

Rooms were so small wich was really importantfor peaple who has colostrophobia , and it wasn't standard. It was so noisy, and stuff was so old, rooms and also hallway smells so bad. And it wasn't safe at all.

It should have been mentioned that the lift stopped between floors , many stairs and steps had to be managed just to get to the lift, there was very little room in the bathroom, only one chair for 2 people, no light at the desk. Also, no place to meet with people other than in the small bedroom, such as a lobby

The room was ready even though I arrived earlier than I planned. The hotel is located close to 2 subway stations of U9 and U3 lines where you can get to the city center. It is also located very close to Boulevard Berlin mall and S Bahn station (10 min walk). It is also situated close to many facilities of Freie Universitaet Berlin (in case you have business there, like me :-)).

We could not get out the front door to get our Uber at 6am on the day we were leaving. The back door to the parking lot was unlocked but no one explained this. The young woman fixing breakfast showed me, but it would help if the hotel put on the Bookings app some instructions "if you are leaving before breakfast" or something like that.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not new or anyhow stylish but was simple and tidy. As we needed the room for sleep and refreshment only it was more than perfect to stay. I do work at the hotel myself, so naturally i was able to see any flaw ;) but its was all compensated by extremely kind and pleasant staff and atmosphere.
