The breakfast was really very good. As for the location of the hotel, it was very good as well. It is close to the railway station, can easily be reached on foot or by bus. The view from the balcony is amazing, you are just looking at Watzmann. More importantly, the hosts were very warm and attentive. Many thanks to them!

Mini fridge in room and kettle and mugs available on request. Supermarket over the road so easy to get milk or other drinks and keep them cool in the fridge. Location: close to town centre, bus stops nearby

There was nothing I did not like.

We loved the location, central for the things we wanted to do. Guest cards given meant we could leave the car in the car park and take a bus. We could even make a roll for lunch(paper bag provided) from the sumptuous breakfast buffet. The hosts were kind, friendly and happy to help. The room was comfy and warm with great views of mountain. The balcony was great with chairs, table and cushions provided. Extra blankets provided but quilts were lovely and warm. There was a safe in the room and plenty of hanging space. Also a very welcome fridge provided. The supermarket with bakery was just across the road and a little walk across a very picturesque bridge with glacial clear water took you to a few more shops and ice cream parlour. The hotel and staff really are one of the best. We hope to visit again.

WiFi was limited at busy times.

The hard working owners are friendly and helpful. Our room on the back side had a balcony facing the river with mountain views. We didn't mind that the room was small. They gave us a small mini refrigerator. It's a great location with EDEKA across the street and REWE and Lidl on a short walk toward the train and bus station. Buses from Wemholz bus stop 50 m away take you to Koenigsee, Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. Local buses are free with the Guest Card they give you. Sunrise photo from the balcony.

The beds and pillows not the most comfiest, but still okay for the hotel. Breakfast was okay, the produce was fresh and tasty, but more catering for meat-eaters and not very diverse. It would also be great if rooms had kettels.

The location is very nice, close to Hbf, there is Edeka and bus stop right across the street. Our room had a pretty nice balcony and a bathtub, which was very nice. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast bars also offered small paper bags for packing sandwiches for later, which was very considerate and convenient.

Nothing at all - we loved every bit of it!

The property is located in a central location, approx. 200 feet from a bus stop (Wemholz) that will get you to wherever you want to go in the Berchtesgaden area. The hosts are fantastic and ensured we had a lovely stay, from the incredible breakfast every morning to answering any questions we had. They were so kind and welcoming, and we felt right at home! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Very nice location: 11 min walk to hbf and 15min bus to Königssee. Can see the Mount Watzmann from the hostel. Huge room with bathtub and balcony. No air conditioning but in late August the temperature is very nice. The hotel seems to be hosted by a nice couple. They helped us made a guest card in advance so busses are essentially free. They recommended some good restaurants for us (neuhaus was the best Bavarian restaurant we had (better than HB). Sophie’s cafe got really nice dessert and live music.) Breakfast is nice but could use more variety.

For summer traveller, there will be no fan or AC and the room is quite warm to sleep at night.

The location is super great, close to station, bus stop to the koningsee, and supermarket. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing also. Last but not least, great balcony with stunning view.

Good location only ten minutes walk to the station and no huge hills en route. Room had lovely balcony with chairs, with views of the hills. The decor was a little dated but this really didn’t matter too much as the room was so clean and the beds were very comfortable. Thought the place was fantastic and really good value, with breakfast included in the room price - plus you could take a roll and cheese for lunch too. And they gave out free bus passes which we used lots! Good value and lovely hotel.
