Is getting old the building, fittings snd decorations. It really feels like a 4 start business hotel.

Is a very well located hotel for city center Nuremberg. The staff is kind and attentive. The breakfast is efficient and nice (although not 5 star but the price is also not 5 star really so very fine)

The design of the bedrooms is a bit outdated.

At first I booked for one night. Then I had to add one more night. I cancelled the first booking and made a new booking for two nights in the same room category. I ended up paying way more. Why? I do not think this is fair. But this will not have any impact on my overall positive stay at the Sheraton

It was not my first time in Nürnberg as it was not my first time at Sheraton. The hotel may boast a convenient location, as well as a superb breakfast and wide and cosy rooms. Whether you are in Nürnberg for leisure or business, this is the place to stay.

The underground car park is expensive and difficult for parking because the spaces and the way down are so narrow. The rooms are quite dark but spacious. The bed and pillows were too soft.

We were in room 106 which meant you had to walk past and through conference groups when coming back after a busy day and very embarrassing when going and coming back from the pool. I would suggest these room should be for conference groups staying. Needs a rethink.

Very good value for money, we wdw just outside the center of the city in walking distance. Staff very efficient, we used the fitness area, sauna and pool and they were very clean and well organised. We managed to park on the street and using the app because we stayed just one night we avoided to pay In excess

Like most German hotels, breakfast doesn’t begin here until 6:30, and while I commend the Sheraton Carlton for maintaining that start time throughout the week rather than pushing it to 7:00 on the weekends (as some properties do), a 6:00 Frühstück launch would be even better. Also, while my room during this trip was larger than the one that had before, I did miss the superior view that I enjoyed last time from the 7th floor. But these quibbles are negligible in the face of the hotel’s countless strengths: it’s the best Nürnberg accommodation choice by far and makes a stay in the city an unadulterated pleasure.

If you’re staying in Nürnberg (an ideal hub city from which to launch day trips in every direction), then take it from a repeat guest: this is your optimal choice of accommodation: five-star quality at a surprisingly reasonable price. This was my second stay at this Sheraton Carlton, and it was every bit as satisfying as my first. The location is note-perfect: right by the main train station, close to top sights such as the Germanisches Nationalmuseum and the Verkehrsmuseum, and with a post office for mailing home souvenir parcels just off to the other side of the Hauptbahnhof. The rooms are immaculately clean, comfortably laid out with cozy carpeting (so much preferable to rock-hard tile or hardwood flooring), spacious, yet boasting all of the amenities that one could ever want, from tea-making facilities and a mini-fridge to a nicely sized balcony. Breakfast here is outstanding, featuring gourmet-quality scrambled eggs, bacon, and the delicious Röstla roasted sausages for which the city is renowned, and which are made better in Nürnberg than in any other city. The lightning-fast laundry service returns clothing the very same day. The wonderfully friendly and courteous staff treat backpacking travellers just as well as they do their upscale clientele. I was even granted an early check in (a rare treat at a German hotel in the summer). The opportunity to bed down again at this heavenly hotel was a determining factor in my decision to return to Nürnberg this year rather than use a different city as a base, and I’m glad that I did; indeed, I hope to return Nürnberg again someday, and when I do, I wouldn’t even dream of staying anywhere else.

I didn’t have a smart casual outfit and didn’t realise you needed one to dine at the restaurant here.

This place was fancy, the rooms where big, the lobby was grand, the Bar was varied and it was centrally located, with good walking distance from the main train station in the city. I liked that the pool had a changing room attached and that there was no pressure to leave a deposit.
