Exceptional hotel. Beautifully appointed, classy rooms. Lovely outside dining area. Breakfast superb- sparkling wine on ice a special touch. Very good value.

Nothing to dislike

As promised exactly 2 years ago, we came for a third stay in this wonderful hotel. Didn’t use the pool this time, but the breakfast was great. Make sure to reserve your parking spot 10 euros) and a table at the restaurant (very nice dinner).

Lovely hotel on outskirts of town easy tram ride to the alte stadt restaurant served very nice food lovely staff could eat outdoors or inside comfy bed very good breakfast as well bags were waiting in our room nice touch !

No bananas for breakfast. The buffet had everything but this one item, Ha Ha.

Wonderful food, the restaurant was first class. Prices are meeting the quality of the establishment. Underground free parking, we could leave the car there and take a tram into town or as we did, took a train into Switzerland to Zurich. On the evenings that were warm and dry we are outside in the garden area. Magnificent…… the food does taste better outside

The restaurant is exceptional. It is not an inexpensive place but the staff is absolutely great and chef does really exceptional work. Great place to stay for one night, well communicated.

Location was some distance from Freiburg itself, ca. 15-20 minutes by tram from the centre. But staff gave excellent information on how to get there, so not a real problem.

Everything about the hotel was fine. Staff was very helpful. Dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast. Car parking booking process was excellent - reserved spot was identified by one's name. Spacious bathroom with large shower.

The cooling system has limited capacity at night.

This hotel has a very agreeable combination of facilities and location. It’s only a short walk to the tram stop where every 7 minutes you can take a tram to the city center. Because the hotel is outside the center, the restaurant and the swimming pool are spacious, making it very nice to relax. Parking is also easy and well supported.

Just a shame that Wednesday was Ruhetag in the restaurant. Also the exit from the car park was very tight

Clean and nice place to stay. We were travelling from Netherlands to Italy and wanted a place to stay, not too far away from the highway. Nice pool, dinner was really good as well as breakfast!
