How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewAbout 10 mins from central station and the dome. Our room was wide and very clean, it had also a kitchenette, whereas the bathroom was relatively small: no place to put skin care products and others, so when I did my makeup I had to run back and forth between the main room and bathroom or else put my make up gear on the toilet seat. We arrived in the middle of the night and managed to check ourselves in easily since reception was closed. But overall satisfied experience.

Breakfast is too expensive, so I didn’t get to try it I’m afraid. Also I don’t think dusting was part of the daily cleaning, and unfortunately in my room there were lots of beard’s hair in the shelf box where the reading light was, behind the pillows, on my arrival. Some of the hair was all over the bed sheet, so I called the reception and the staff were really kind, and promptly changed the bed sheet on my request. However I noticed the cleaning staff didn’t dust the dirty shelf at all. So I had to push the hair on the shelf myself towards the back with a tissue, so that it wouldn’t get on the bed sheet again, and that worked. I would recommend to include dusting on your daily clean.

Verified reviewWe were given a large room with a walk-in wardrobe and a balcony. It was quiet, and the air-conditioning works well. The breakfast is exceptionally good with lots of gluten-free food. When travelling, I want fruit, vegetables and good quality food. This exceeded the brief. The staff spoke great English and were responsive to a small problem we had with the coffee machine, provided a map, umbrella and travel card.
TV was a bit odd, but the previous person may be responsible. If you think you'll be bothered by the construction over the road, then ask for a room on the back. It was super quiet.

Verified reviewThe rooms were very spacious and nice with good soundproofing, and the staff very helpful. It was easy to leave the luggage in the lockers in the basement and just retrieve them whenever suited you. Breakfast was plenty and dining hall was very nice.
Found a little bit of hair on the shower wall, the mini fridge didn't work (which they replaced when asked about) and don't hang heavy stuff on the hooks on the door, they're just glued on.

Upon arrival i realised that the large room i have booked with spacious bathroom showing shower over bath was not what I got. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet was attached to the basin and the shower glass door. The shower was abysmal and old fashioned, the shower head attached to the wall over 2m above and you cannot shower well without a removable head, especially as women. The hotel is 'pets friendly' but nowhere was stated that animals sleeps in every room. It was more like a zoo than an hotel. The only elevator took forever to come up and down and smelled of fur. Careful when booking because you are not getting the room with bathroom you see in the pictures. Behind the room door there was the floor plan and the large room in the picture was only one on the third floor.

Lots of construction around the hotel going on—that’s not the fault of the hotel, but it does make it a bit cumbersome to find.

Verified reviewOur room smelt really really badly and the air conditioner would shut down every few hours. We didn't use the common areas at all as the dining area had doors closed and then an event that didn't allow for guest use. The garden was also inaccessible to us as well and had only designated times for use. It was more of a 1.5 star accommodation.
