How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would not want to stay in the hotel in hot summer/ without AC and street noise thats not fun at all.
Right in the middle of Schwabing, which is great but means also some street noise plus construction during day time.

The only aspect to point out was the opening hours of the reception. They were a bit restrictive and required a bit of adaptation from my side both at check in and check out.
It is definitely a great value-for-money place. Very quiet and family environment right in the academic/museum centre.

Quiet, with AC, good breakfast. Centrally located! Would be even better with Direct lighting above the sink in the bathroom, and washcloths or facial cleansers should be provided, and a magnifying mirror would be appreciated.

the front door is kept open -during the day- for the convenience of their thin staffing - not the safest measure :(
The remodeled rooms on upper floors are on the small side, but well designed with good beds and nice bathrooms. The surrounding university area has many interesting bars and ethnic restaurants, yet our room facing the garden-like city block's inside was very quiet. Walk to the Pinakothekes and English Garden, convenient buses steps away, even to Blutenburg + Nymphenburg castles/chateaux (a nice green day walk!)

Breakfast was a bit limited especially with hot food. Some of the walls are a bit thin.
The bathroom is very modern whilst my room was a little dated. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

More sweets options in the breakfast. For people that don’t like to eat salty at the mornings the only option is bread and Nutella/jam. You should offer some croissant, or cake…it would be great some applestrudel

Would have liked drink making facilities in the room.
The rooms were big and a good temperature. Beds were comfy, breakfast was well stocked. Great proximity to the centre & underground station.

The hotel was a little dated and would benefit from a refresh.
Great location close to the centre. The continental breakfast was good with fresh fruit and yoghurt on offer also.

Property has parking available for 20€ per night, this is a big advantage because parking in Munich is expensive and complicated. Parking spot should be reserved ahead. Stuff is very nice, we arrived a bit earlier than check-in time and they allowed us to park, also there's coffee and tea available all the time, complimentary water in the room.

The hotel is on the older side so the rooms are quite old but have obviously been upgraded at different times.
Good location in the university district, lots going on around and easy to get to the main areas of the city by walking and trains. Visited for a long weekend for Oktoberfest and it was great. Staff were all lovely and the breakfast was great. Room has everything you need and fairly comfortable. Perfect for a short stay in Munich. The restaurant right below is fantastic for brunch and lunch, really busy for a reason!

No hot food at breakfast. Awkward getting to and from reception which involved lugging bags up to first floor in a different building

Reception was closed, despite the sign saying it should be open at that time. Not the end of the world, but after a difficult journey to get there you just want to get to your room
Great value and a large, clean room. Lots of restaurants, pubs and groceries within 200 metres. The whole area felt very safe and there was no noise at night .A pleasant 20 minute walk into central Munich
