there was nothing that we disliked

the owner of this hotel was very welcoming, room was clean and large, bed was very comfortble, breakfast was set out for us at the time we requested, lovely plate of meats,cheese, fresh baked rolls, boiled eggs, oj and coffee very tasty. the hotel has an excellent location, center of Soest is a 3 minute walk away.

At arrival the hotel was closed. We had to call. We were lucky to have a parking place on the road. We didn't see the private parking from the hotel. Very small bathroom

Room can be noisy till about 9 pm from parties but it is a pub and a restaurant so it’s normal.

The bar/restaurant was closed for annual holidays. The hotel page on Booking.com said it would be open and no notification to the contary was made.

Overall, it was a good stop for a night.

The location is very good. Public parking is available nearby, so it is not a problem that the hotel has limited space. Breakfast is fine, but could be more generous.

Friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable bed and a nice large room. On arrival the owner allowed us to park our motorcycles next to the hotel in an off street space. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. 2 minutes walk to the centre of town.

Bathroom in room 4 is so small I could not even turn around in it - paint is missing from the toilet seat so it looks like something brown sitting there. Towel rail in a dangerous spot, I whacked my head on it while getting a closer look at the toilet seat.

This was my 2nd time and I really like it here. There aren’t many hotels within the walls of Soest and this one is very reasonably priced. My aunt (not a guest) joined me for breakfast which was only €10.90. Breakfast is lovely. White and seedy bread rolls, croissant, hard boiled egg, meats and cheeses and of course very nice coffee. Breakfast room is also lovely and cosy.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!! Great hotel in a lovely quiet location. Brilliant staff.

We were a party of 4 staying in 3 separate rooms, for one night. The rooms were all spotlessly clean and freshly decorated. The staff were very helpful and friendly. After check out, we had a 5 hour wait before our train to Dusseldorf Airport. The staff were more than willing to store our suitcases until we needed then, for onward travel, which was very helpful.

Room 8 was wonderful - generous bedroom, big bathroom with lovely shower and quiet view out onto the back garden. Loved it. Breakfast is always lovely here and good value for money. The breakfast room is particularly cosy.

Hotel with restaurant and pub downstairs in the close proximity to the main town square. Host very friendly and supportive. Limited parking space directly at the hotel but I had one for me reserved.
