The staff were smiling, very helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy, just located on on the outskirts of town. My room was small but adequate and was very modern with all the facilities. I didnt get to use the facilities but they seem perfect.

No fridge in our room even if the specification at booking.com stated this for our selected room. When we complained at the reception, we was just told that all rooms are not furnished with fridge!?

not a minus for the property, but be aware that exiting the long driveway onto the main road can be quite tricky because the long grass on both sides impedes the view of oncoming traffic

The only complaint as a solo traveler was the location. Fantastic for a couples getaway however. Without a car a bus needed to be taken everytime a trip to town was warranted.

They had a minifridge, but I would have been grateful for a minibar. Everything else you might need in the room was there. The showers had good pressure and lots of hot water.

Excellent breakfast, truly fit for a king or queen, without having to hobnob with royal riff raff. Full selection of meats, eggs, cheeses, bread and jams and fruit. They even had a waffle maker.

I have to admit we felt like the stuff was doing as a favour letting us stay. The reception lady who was "welcoming" us, was missing a pinch of kindness and customer-focused apporach in the way she spoke. The weiter at breakfast behaved like we were in his way, bothering. The apple juice at breakfast had mold swimming in the container, and after showing it to the staff, no one even said sorry. That's below my expectations. The location is rather remote, so you'd probably come by car, just to be changed extra for parking at their own grounds.

The room was spacious and clean and quiet. Nice landscapes around the location.
