How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Good breakfast,(was included in the stay) Fruit Salat with real fruit! Rooms basic but clean, staff nice. Lost my headphones they sent it to me for free! Perfect!

The hotel is connected to a hospital, so if you need to sleep with windows open, be prepared for some ambulance sirens through the night.

Its a minor thing, but there was no tea naking equipment in the room. A little far out from the centre, but a pleasant walk in good weather.
Friendly staff, good value, free parking, great breakfast. Munster is a lovely town.

Lovely staff. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice. The perfect walking distance (about 30 mins) from the centre of Munster.

At check-in personnel could have been a bit more friendly. Hotel is at 2km from city edge, only nice path is along the lake. Recommend to catch bus 15/16 at Weselerstrasse (5 min walk). Day ticket can be bought from driver, card/cash, only 7.60 euro. Change to bus 12/13 at ‘Hauptbahnhof’ (same stop) to reach Dom square and castle.
Comfortable room, quiet, great breakfast.

A small thing, but being English, a kettle in the room would have been nice! But I know that's a cultural preference. More pillows.

It was quite a distance to walk to the Altstadt, and a fair walk to the lake and pizzeria.
Breakfast was excellent in a lovely light and spacious room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything was new clean and spacious.

The hotel is located outside of old city centre but can be easily reached by public transport (10 minutes by bus from the Central Station. Considering that the price of this hotel is much less than for hotels in the old town, it is worth it. The room was massive and disabled friendly. Wifi is fast and reliable. Very good breakfast was served in the restaurant in the building opposite the hotel.

Free parking and breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. Even have tea/coffee in the room now. The only downside is its a little far from the centre. I would definitely stay here again.

Although initially it seems you are in the wrong place (the hotel is in the middle of a massive Red Cross compound, thus the name DRK), people in reception were super friendly. The location is a bit outside the city center, but manageable to walk if you’re used to it (roughly 2km). But for us, the nicest surprise was when we got to our rooms and found out they had prepared everything for our two dogs that were staying with us. Bowls, mats, blankets and snacks! Honestly so carefully thought, to even have a tag to hold to the door in case the dogs are staying inside while you are away for something. Would recommend the place for anyone, but if you’re traveling with your pet, this is definitely a great place to be.

Description mentions they rent bikes and there is hairdryer in the room, but it wasn't true in my case. Brighter light in the rooms would be good.

It was not clear that these accommodations were in a “Red Cross” building next to medical offices. Location was quite a distance from town center.
The location is out of the main town area, quiet, clean and basic. Staff at reception was very helpful. Breakfast was very light, staff not friendly or helpful.
