Very professional staff. Welcome glass of sekt. I booked a standard room and got a rooftop view with a terrace. For 1 person. My small dog even got a treat and 2 bowls prepare in the room. Very comfortable room and lots of space. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options. Private underground parking below the hotel. Bar and restaurant located within the hotel also. Central location of hotel.

I like how the bathtubs have been changed to showers however these showers need a door, because the drain is strangely placed making it easy for the bathroom to get wet when taking a shower. The pillows are also too flat and made it difficult to sleep with one. Hence I had to use 2 to feel comfortable. The pillows should be changed for newer ones that don't deflate immediately you place your head on them.

First time back since the name change from Steigenberger to Dorint and most things are still the same including the great service and breakfast. After checking into my room there was a strong odour of wet carpet which didn't go away because the AC in the room was not working. However the young lady at reception quickly booked me into another room which I found much more comfortable and did not have that strong odour. I much preferred the new room I was given which was more spacious. She also gave me the bar vouchers the previous receptionist forgot to give to me, and quickly sorted out a payment discrepancy after the previous receptionist who checked me in mixed up the numbers and charged me about €60 more than my booking. She realised his mistake and quickly rectified it. She was really helpful and friendly and made my stay more enjoyable despite the issues I faced. I definitely applaud her for a great job. I still don't understand why those errors were made by the first receptionist but payment details is something that should be carefully considered because if I had decided to pay during check out and the same mistake was made, it might have made getting the refund more complicated after I had left. However I am very grateful for the quick solution of the young lady at the reception and her helpfulness throughout my stay. Hence my high score.

The car parking was interesting, as you have to drive you car through an elevator. They offer charging for your electric car with a flat fee for the charge. You need to arrange the charging at the desk. The room was quite nice!

The hotel is really nice, very comfortable to stay with kids and parents. Very tasty and wide offer for breakfast, and very friendly and helpful receptionists. We had a goal to visit the place in Jena and receptionist lady advised with bus stop, guided the way and we really found that place. Thanks to her🙌🏻

Big and clean Hotel! Good breakfast. Big Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Good everyday cleanning of the rooms! Delicious food in the "Moon Bar" on the 3d floor. Very comfortable Hotel to stay for the Business (Conference) Trip!

Everything was perfect for a one night stay. We had indicated that we would arrive earlier and just drop off our luggage. When we arrived already at 12.30 we were told at check-in that our room was already ready for us to occupy and freshen-up without any addition early arrival cost. We did not have breakfast the next day, just some tea/coffee as provided with the room.

The AC automatically switches off at 11pm, although they said when it is very warm they keep it on. I would prefer to decide for myself if I want the AC on in my room.
