Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

We had our diner in the lobby which felt a bit forgotten by the staff. The hand out of the main course was scattered.
Nice modernized room / bathroom. Enjoyed the extensive breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very nice.

We enjoyed everything
Hotel was located very quite and walking distance from the main town. There are a lot of beautiful hiking trails behind the hotel which we used during our stay. The breakfast service was a high standard and staff were very friendly.

It does not have air conditioning, the room receives the sun all day so we had to open the large door to cool down. It was not a problem during our stay but it might be if temperatures go up during the day and do not really go down at night.
Located in a beautiful area with easy access to both the Black Forest and the cities, the town is beautiful too. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed breakfast as well as cold cuts and salads in our balcony with wine from the property. The views were also a plus.

There was no Dan or air conditioning and it was extremely hot
We found this a very nice hotel in a quiet location with plenty of on site parking. It is only a 15 minute walk to the old town. We enjoyed a great breakfast. The receptionist was very friendly and went out of her way to assist us

Ate at the restaurant twice in our 4 night stay and found it to be good, but not great.
The staff were excellent. Breakfast was also a winner. We stayed in the Black Forest area to explore and it was amazing.

Wi-Fi connection not secure.
Friendly staff, lovely room, great breakfast. Herr Huber kindly gave us a lift to the train station when we were leaving as it was raining. It is a good walk 15m walk from the town, some of it uphill. We didn’t mind this and enjoyed the walk but you may want to check this.

The room was comfortable and modern with a small walk-out area. Restaurant was very nice for dinner and the local wine delicious. Was close to the old town so was a quick drive. Breakfast was outstanding.

It was very warm and we had no air conditioning. That would have made the stay much more comfortable.
The meal at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast also!

An excellent hotel: all the staff were very helpful, the location is about a 20 minute walk to the centre but is set in a great area. We decided to have a meal at the hotel and this was to a high standard as was their own wine. All in all a great place to stay.

Just a water heater missing in the room, for a cup of tea or coffee.

Sadly, there was no air conditioning in the room
Fabulous location, first class breakfast and ample car parking. Just a 13 minute walk downhill into the old town would recommend this place for sure
