The only downside is the lack of air conditioning! It really needs to be installed!

It is a wonderful accommodation, everything is exceptionally well taken care of! It is spotlessly clean! Its location is amazing, just outside the town next to the lift, with a fantastic view of the mountains! The owner was very kind and extremely helpful! We had a health issue with our dog on a public holiday, and she immediately found us a vet and helped us completely! The little house has everything you need in the kitchen and even more! We stayed for 8 nights and we would definitely return!

If there’s breakfast option for just a simple coffee and bread would be wonderful during our stay as cafes for breakfast is not nearby. The fridge was out of service, but we dont mind as we were just unlucky.

Without a car, transportation wasn’t the most convenient for us especially since we visited when the Alpspitzbahn was closed. While the location made getting to the town center tricky, Bus 2, right outside, was helpful—just needed careful timing to avoid missing the last bus.

This place is amazing! It’s cosy, warm, and incredibly clean, making it feel just like home. The space is fully packed with facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The host was also super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

I do not have anything to comment negatively about this accommodation. Probably it would have been nice to also have a bin for non-recyclable and non biodegradable things in the room. But this is not something negative, just a personal preference, from my point of view.

We enjoyed the accommodation very much! It was such a great choice for us, we appreciated very much the level of comfort our apartment presented especially after a day full of activities in nature. The communication with our host was spotless and we look forward to coming here again should we return to Garmisch!

The location is very good, there have private parking, it is very convenient for us to drive there, the house is very unique, the balcony has a great view, and the landlord is also very welcoming.

The location was lovely but a little inconvenient if you’re relying on public transport as the buses from town are once an hour and stop after 6pm.

Absolutely stunning location with mountain views out the front, and ski lifts right next door if you’re there to ski. The rooms were nicely decorated and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. There also seemed to be good facilities for borrowing equipment, and a sauna building in the garden but we didn’t use them.

Steps for heavy luggage. But this is not a hotel, so cannot expect a lift.

Location. Room. Facilities. Cleanliness. Friendliness. This is a lovely house in a very scenic location on the edge of Garmich. 5 mins into town. 3 mins from a Lidl supermarket and right beside 2 superb cable cars. I recommend the alpslitze car. Very reasonably priced and spectacular view from the top. Loved our stay here and would love to come back again. The rooms are homely and well appointed.

The host kindly let me in despite me arriving early. It is very tidy with a great view. with a kitchen and a living room, useful for a holiday stay. There were also bikes available, which was essential as it's slightly remote from town and the bus, despite stopping right across the street, is much slower. Being at the foot of two of the cable cars, it was easy to combine hiking with using them. It's also a few meters from a train stop for the Zugspitzebahn.

The property was delightful, it felt like a home, and the shower in particular was fantastic, as was the view from the balcony. The kitchen had everything you needed. Couldn’t fault anything about the place. There was a bus stop literally right outside, and a secure place to store bikes. We’re already hoping to visit again.

Environment and the property: This place is like in a fairy tale. We see the mountains and a lovely garden from our balcony, where we had breakfast every morning. Owner chose with love every little item in the apartment. We just love the rustic and scandinave style so much! Needless to say, the apartment is spotless clean. Transport: We basically drove to the attractions nearby. It is just a few minutes away from the Zugspitze and Partnach gorge by car. There is also a bus stop in front of the property where you can take bus No.2 to the very center of Garmisch partenkirchen. Owner and service: Marion is a super host, always willing to help. We didn't have any problem while we stayed there, but I forgot my hat in the room when I checked out. On my way back I contacted Marion, she was more than happy to send it back to me by post. We really enjoyed our stay in Ferienhaus heimhof (already eager to go back!), and we recommend this place to everyone.
