How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our flat had no parking. I believe it was the only flat without allocated parking, but I feel that if parking is included in the listing on booking.com, it should be honoured.
Excellent location, close to the Autobahn, and a short walk into town where there a few restaurants etc.

The accommodation is really neat and all equipment is new. Almost 20 km far from Europe park and Rulantica. Nice vilage and good place for relaxing.

The place was clean and spacious, with enough amenities. Close to the railway station and to the Endingen centre - there are cafes, restaurants, banks and shops at walkable distance. Highly recommend.

The allocated parking was occupied, so we got upgraded to a bigger appartment for the sme price with another parking.
No breakfast service. The location is first class.

It's the only place that we ever stayed where we had to dispose the rubbish bins ourselves as its apparently not part of their cleaning.
Easy access to europa park. It's located in a little town that has various amenities. Secure parking and pet friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It is unusual for guests to be expected to clean the apartment as if the cleaning person wouldn't come after. I was never before asked to empty the trashcan before leaving. Emails warning us about the deposit return requirements were a bit too much.

the wifi was not working. we needed to buy sim card for 3 members of our family insted the use of the wifi and cost us extra money that we didn't we took into account. i can tell that you offered us another apartment but we didn't want to chage the room because of the complication of the changing rooms. we were at your place for 4 night and i expected to fix the wifi, but unfortunately nothing was repaired. was a bad feeling!
received a good explanation on the way we received the keys of the appartment. the appartmend was nice, clead and spaceous.

The TV has a very poor chanel's collection. Only one English chanel (CNN). It will be very nice if the tv set will be connected to the Wi Fi so a smart phone's screen can be displayed on it.

Didn’t send check in information in time. Our check in time was from 16 o clock, got info at 20. Ridiculous! No one answers the messages and phone calls. Poor communication. Won’t recommend to anyone.

the lack of air conditioning made our stay less pleasant than it could have been.
We recently stayed at this place and found the apartment to be very good overall. The room was clean, well-furnished, and spacious, providing a comfortable environment—except for one major drawback. There was no air conditioning available, and since it was hot outside, the room became extremely hot and stuffy. This significantly impacted our ability to relax and made the overall experience less enjoyable. The location of the hotel is great, offering easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful surroundings. However, the absence of air conditioning is a clear oversight that needs to be addressed to improve guest comfort. In summary, while the apartment itself was excellent and the location ideal, the lack of air conditioning made our stay less pleasant than it could have been.
