Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe rooms (3ea) have been not cooled down before our arrival. One of the rooms (Mr. Willman) had the curtains open for sun to hit the room. We understand that the rooms having no build in air-condition. But in this summers heat a fan is not enough to cool the room down to a bearable temperature. At the lobby was offered a self made Herb/ Fruit water mix we have been happy to see, but experienced a stale and warm non tasty surprise. We going to stay away from this refreshment next time. I (van Elst) booked the rooms (3ea) but every room was pre-paid by each occupant. Staff was not able to print for each person receipt or confirmation of stay.
We like the location and the price. This was our second stay within four month.

AustraliaGetting to room 25a required walking up about 40 steps and several increasingly narrow flights of steps. Bed and pillow were way too soft for my taste.
Convenient stay for getting to Stuttgart airport early in the morning.

BelgiumOutdated rooms. Too expensive for what you get. Had to pay extra for breakfast. The information in the room made me to believe it was included in the price. Of course it was my own fault not to check with the facilities, but at 330€ for two nights I would have expected it to be included. Breakfast on its own was also not worth the additional cost.

United KingdomQuiet area of Stuttgart about 20mins on the train from the city centre. The village is superb with all the facilities you would need in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Hotel is 5mins walk away from the metro station. Nice sized room with comfortable bed. Also had a balcony which was great to sit out in the evening. Breakfast is continental style.

United KingdomThe hotel is a bit tired and everything is brown timber and brown carpets which make the hotel look pretty drab. There are no facilities at the hotel and the reception is manned for a part of the day. The hotel would benefit from installing a vending machine even so there was some basics available.
Reasonable style continental breakfast. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The hotel is very much a tourist hotel which has no real facilities other than breakfast room in the morning. Therefore you need to go out for anything else. There is a good bar/restaurant at the end of the street which provides a good choice for dinner and drinks. The railway station is less than 5 minute walk away and is only 20 minutes into the centre of Stuttgart. If you want a reasonable priced alternative to city centre hotels then this is n't a bad option and Mohringen is a pleasant town.

LithuaniaDue to football championship the price was to high for 3 star hotel, although there was no other choice around :). Breakfast was mediocre, more or less usual stuff. There was no kettle in the room to prepare tea or coffee. The matrass was to soft at least for me, it was not comfort to lie.
Quite clean, each day the room was tidied up. The location is very good, center of suburb (Mohringen), next to S and U bans node. A lot of restaurants, pubs and fast food around.

GermanyThere is minimal lighting in the hotel lobby in the evening makes the place rather gloomy when returning from a night out. A couple of lights on a movement sensor would enable easier transit to the lift or room corridors.
This is a nice hotel offering good value for money and easy transport links. The room was clean and an extra pillow was supplied, As others have said, walking to the S1 centre takes about 20 minutes or you can use the tram. Getting to the centre of Stuttgart is fairly easy as well. The hotel is situated in a nice area with access to shops and food outlets. Note the entrance to the underground parking area is directly opposite the ice cream shop and it has lift and stairwell access directly to the hotel lobby.

BelarusBreakfast could've been a bit more diverce, but that's a minor thing honestly, like in general it was okay.
We arrived at Sunday, and there were some problems with check-in, but they were quickly resolved. The entrance to the hotel is a bit hidden which honestly adds up to the general feeling of cosiness and quiet privacy. Also there were really nice packages in the bathroom, for makeup remove, shoe polishing and a sewing kit, wery thoughtful. Also the location is really great is you plan to visit the Palladium theater (which was my main destination) - it's only about 20 minutes walk.
