The pillows were far too soft, there were loads of mosquitos from the ponds right outside the room and there was no kettle in the room. Despite the hotel being in the countryside, an additional €5 had to be paid for parking! Breakfast looked nothing special so we didn’t bother.

The property is based around a restored windmill with rooms in a new extension. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Dinner in the restaurant was good. The area was lovely and quiet.

Just bare in mind to ask about the price for the breakfast before you order it. You might be surprise if you are on a limited budget. Otherwise nothing bad about the property.

It was a great location, quite solitary, which I hadn’t appreciated when I booked - nothing to wander down the road to etc. But it was very relaxing - an overnight stop for me on a business trip. Excellent food, and staff, even when the Satnav brought me in from the wrong side and I walked into the kitchen (!), they took me through to reception, arranged for me to be checked in, and then re-directed me to the correct parking area. There was a party of around 25 Swiss blokes there on a coach trip, they were quite boisterous but entertaining!! I would stay there again, great steak, thank you.

Swimming pool is not working and sauna couldn't be heated for us, no one has told us that we can't use it. We were really disappointed, as the hotel states is with wellness and sauna. We got a half of toilet paper and we had to ask for more, it's should have been prepared for us.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room, after a day of airing the smell went away. Very thin pillows, uncomfortable to sleep. Very small choice of food for breakfast. The restaurant has delicious food and beautiful presentation

Quiet place. For 2 nights it was perfect. The room is quite large and bright, a nice glazed loggia, where it is nice to sit in the evening.

The bed was too soft, and my back hurts.

I love the cozy and comfy atmosphere of this hotel. So romantic and it's lovely to stay here! It's 20 minutes' drive from Schwerin Castle and the road is not so hard to find based on Google Maps. You feel like in the green area, not the crowded city center, and the environment is quiet with lots of parking. The parking costs 5 euro per day.

Location and style . Stuff very helpful on late arrival and professional

We arrived after closing time of the reception and the flat sheet was missing in one of the 2 rooms we had rented. The room had been made with comforters, pillows, towels, and candies, but that had been placed on the bare mattresses. Even though this make the room useless, we had to have an argument with the staff to get compensation. The staff was protecting itself from giving compensation behind the fact that the booking was made through Booking.com, and not directly through the hotel. People were smoking under a covered passage way between the reception building and the building in which the rooms are located. Because some doors of the building were opened, the smoke came in the building and balconies. The hotel is located in a small village where space is not an issue. Even though they charge 5 euros per night for the open parking without surveillance. It will be a journey to reach that location without a car.
