We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe room had no ventilation fans, very smelly. Had to open up windows for some freshness. Had to leave the windows a little open for breathing while sleeping. The room can hear all outside noises. So light sleepers will have trouble sleeping. Breakfast was very average for the money. Even for meat eaters. And No options for vegetarian except for bread jam!
Size of the room was good. Not too compact and not too big. Had comfortable beds and space for moving around. The chairs inside were also fine.

ThailandNo lift, I was staying on the 4th floor with all luggages to be carried up and down. Due to the exhibition event in Hannover, the hotel cost are very high (all the hotels, not just this one)
Breakfast, small but cover several kinds of foods. Coffee is good. staff was nice. Room, alright, heater was manually adjusted. Bath room was very clean. Location, near the main railway station. easy to go anywhere.

United KingdomStaff , except a couple of lovely ladies, a little remote and rather indifferent to guests, would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no lift, a little far from the town centre for those not travelling by train.
Good location for the train and public transport stations, Quiet area in nice residential district, Good sized room and great buffet breakfast with good quality food.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, checkin went smooth. Location is perfect, very close to Braunschweig Hbf main train station. The room was cosy, clean, and it has anything you would need. Bathroom was clean.

SlovakiaWe received water bottles to drink for free for not requesting housekeeping services. However, there was no bottle opener in the room to be able to open them. :D As I was coming to the hotel late from work, there was no one at reception to ask for it.
Staff (when available) was extremely helpful when solving our questions and issues.

United KingdomThere is no lift, so we had to carry our suitcases up a spiral staircase.
The staff were friendly, the room was nice with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. We had a very peaceful night. There is a cosy restaurant on site, so we ate there, in their sunny courtyard. We knew the parking was just (free) on the street - when we arrived at 19.00 there were a few spaces available. The walk into the old town was only about 15 minutes, via a very nice park.

GermanyDespite the announcement "free public parking", there was no free parking space on the streets near the hotel. Instead, the hotel offered parking on their premises for 12 EUR, however the premises were closed from approx 20:00 to 9:00 in the morning. That is not feasible, if you need your car still in the evening.

NetherlandsBed bugs! When calling the hotel after my return home, I spoke to the Manager. Whilst expressing sincere regret over the incident, she clearly put the blame with me for not calling the reception number. The reception is unmanned between 10:00pm-07:00am and it was not obvious to me that calling the reception number during these hours would get me switched through to the manager's phone. She stated she would have gotten us another room rightaway. I don't feel this would have solved the problem, as we would not have felt safe about cleanliness standards and possibility of bed bugs.
check-in no problem. Interaction with receptionist was good. Receptionist was not empowered though to provide satisfactory solution to our unhappiness and inability to sleep. Partial compensation would have been appreciated.
