The photo on the booking website suggests there is a restaurant. Upon arrival we learned the restaurant was closed since corona. For a restaurant you have to go to the next village

Room was noisy (ground floor), we heard people coming in and out.

The hostess is helpful and friendly, accomodation is very convenient on the way. Breakfast is great for a very small price! Big room and nice shower.

Some organisational things during check-in can be improved: moving with the heavy baggage first to the guestroom door, then meeting at another house, then moving back to the guest house.

1. Instead of paying tourist prices in Freiburg, we decided to stay in this calm little village Oberrimsingen. Good "Value for money". 2. In Niederrimsingen (5 minutes drive) there is a lovely restaurant. 3. Parking in the inner courtyard

Nothing, really no negatives for us.

Traditional German Gasthaus in small town setting, close to main routes. Our room was quiet, overlooking inner courtyard, clean and well appointed. No evening meals were available but breakfast was extremely satisfying and excellent value for money. There was outdoor seating in the courtyard and a 'trust' bar for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an outhouse. Overall, excellent value overnight stop on our way home from Italy.

There was nobody in the reception when we arrived. The owner doesn't speak any English and it was impossible to communicate with her. The place is old and needs some renovation. It'll be nice to have at least an electric kettle in the room.

The room was clean and well lit. There is a good private parking.

Beautiful vintage style place and very friendly owner, easy check-in and check-out. Good continental breakfast.

Everything was fine, as expected. Nothing to report in this section. We liked the setting, there is a petrol filling station nearby and very easy from there to get into France.

Reception was fine, no problems. Our room very nice indeed, large , warm and very comfortable. We'd been before and knew how spacious it is. There is a restaurant/pub very close by and that very convivial too. Very good nights sleep and very good breakfast, chatting with the proprietor.

The rooms need to be renovated at certain places, I.e. the shower cabin.

I liked the friendly atmosphere and the honest efforts of the family, who owns the property, to welcome guests and provide a decent accommodation. The location is great, close to Freiburg and Colmar in a very quiet place. The rooms are decent with comfortable beds and hot water. Mrs. Zeller was extremely friendly and welcomed our kids with sweets. She is making great efforts to continue this family business, a big respect and thanks therefore from our family. The breakfast had a very fair price and nice variety.

After a long jopurney, we slept well. The room ewas warm and clean. The breakfast was good. however, there were no facilities for an evening meal at the hotel , or in the village. we had to travel to Breisach in order to get an evening meal (a 10 minute drive away). There was a petrol station in the village, so we were able to top up the tank before hitting the road again in the morning

I didn't know breakfast was available and the only restaurant in town had practically nothing vegan or vegetarian so I left the town hungry. The bed duvet was rather thin and it was a bit chilly.

The hostess was very nice. The location was within walking distance to the function at the local "castle" but the public transportation services were not good due to repairs. Curtains were good for sleeping and the view was charming.

Late check in could be more streamlined especially given the location close to the highway. The restaurant was closed and the hotel did not provide us any useful suggestions as alternatives.

Close to the highway and very convenient.. Comfortable rooms and bed, spacious bathroom and easy parking. Sumptuous breakfast.

I would not dare say anything bad to this nice lady!

The old lady taking care of the place is a real treasure, she was all alone (I think) but took care of everything. The place is basic but she made it special, she said "I will not let my guests starve!" she pointed to the beer fridge at the back and when we had a few beers outside she even brought some cheese and nuts. She greeted everyone that arrived even though she could not walk well. She also managed the breakfast which was really good with good bread buns, salmon, eggs and nice cereals. The rooms are good value for money, bit outdated but still more than ok!
