The view of the trees and mountain from our room and balcony was stunning! Daniella was super helpful! Delicious food for lunch and dinner and great walks in the countryside.

WiFi was not reaching much further than a reception. Good for device detox, bad if you need to plan further route. Mobile internet was also not working due to location of the hotel.

The nicer building with balconies overlooking the mountains was fully booked, so we ended up in a room on the first floor of the other building, with a view of the parking lot and the highway just behind it. I highly recommend ensuring you book a room with a balcony and a direct mountain view, as the difference between the two buildings is significant and can greatly impact your experience. I also wish there was background music in the breakfast room and the sauna. It felt very quiet and a bit awkward at times. Some soft, relaxing music would have made the atmosphere much more enjoyable.

A stunning, newly renovated hotel in a fantastic location. Just a few meters away, there’s a beautiful river with cascading waterfalls and perfect spots to take a dip in the refreshing water. The spa was absolutely perfect, and the entire property was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, served with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We especially loved the unique selection of cheeses and the fresh spring water, which is also available throughout the hotel—even in the rooms. As a lovely touch, red wine is included in the room, and at checkout, we received some luxurious soap as a thoughtful goodbye gift. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with any question or request. Overall, an unforgettable stay!

Serene atmosphere in and around the hotel. Very kind staff. Very comfortable and clean rooms with free locally produced water. The restaurant offers some delicious meals and fantastic view on the terrace. The whole area is picturesque and offers plenty of opportunities for walks.

Bad mobile signal and very bad wifi.

Everything was excellent! Nice historical building, but very modern interior and facilities. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Nice spa with also a terrace lounge. Friendly staff. Small children’s playground in the yard and horse ranch next to the hotel. Breakfast was good, but could be more various.

The receptionist Daniella was so welcoming and helpful. The Spa Facility was amazing and ultra clean and the view from the back is stunning.

Nestled in the lush green woods of Schneizlreuth, this hotel is truly a gem. The friendliness of staff, the quality of the place, the amenities, the locally sourced produce, and the details of the water selection were all little treats in themselves. With internet only at reception one can really switch off and enjoy the surrounding nature. Hiking, biking, or just relaxing on the sun terrace rejuvenate the mind.

We like the hotel , view is amazing, every morning sitting in restaurants. Seeing the mountain is cool ! We order a family room , big space and facility is perfect. Staff is so nice and cleaning room every day !restaurant also fine evening the dinner around 8pm still available! Food is tasty!Everything all fine . We recommend this hotel , good for family!

WiFi could do with booster as needed to go to reception to use. Unable to use consistently in rooms. Very hot when we stayed so could have done with aircon ideally.

Our room assignment was right near the cars and it was noisy. Also NO INTERNET in the rooms.

We did not have a good location for our room as it was near the road and we could not leave our windows open at night due to it being on the ground floor. It was very hot. Also no internet in the rooms The room was wonderful and clean and the breakfast was amazing!

Great breakfast selection, room was very roomy they had water and wine and it nicely decorated and the location was perfect to where we wanted to go. Loved everything about our sta at Gasthof Mauthäusl - Thomas was very nice helpful!
