Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only issue we had was no coffee at 6:30 to help wake us up
The hotel is very close to the train station (less than 5 mins walk) and about 15 mins to the old town. The staff are exceptionally friendly and, in a first for us, there is free ice cream on offer, as well as tea, coffee, beer and soft drinks. Breakfast was excellent with much local produce. We stayed for one night in Oldenburg to split a journey from Rotterdam to Lübeck, and we're really glad we did. Lovely town even though the weather wasn't brilliant. We will definitely stop again if heading for Northern Germany or Scandinavia.

Nothing at all.
Everything ! The rooms are beautifuly decorated - as is the breakfast room. Staff so helpfull. ( we met elderly German relatives at the hotel and met with them in the lounge and was given complimentary coffee and biscuits - thankyou) location is ideal with a pleasant walk of 12.mins into centre of Oldenburg along the river. ( just turn right at the river not left) A great selection at breakfast - scrambled eggs were delicious. Very very clean. Couldnt fault it. would definately stay again. Also free parking. Thank you for a very nice stay

The location is excellent, just near the main station and very close to city centre. Staff also were very nice and kind! They provide ice-cream, soft drinks and beer unlimited!! Have never seen this kind of service!

Some temporary road works at the front but they will shortly be finished.
I liked so much. The welcoming staff and the explanation of the over-the-top provision of treats like beer, soft drinks and ice cream which is all there to help yourself at no extra charge. They even found me a privileged, secure spot at the back door of the hotel for my motorbike. The room was really nice and the effective cold air blower proved a boon in the hot temperatures.

The hotel was so easy to find, just a five minute walk from the Oldenburg train station. Great bed, clean room, free refreshments and breakfast. Additionally, the receptionists were so friendly!

Normal size room, very clean. Beds are comfortable and the plugs and switches are integrated in the bed for easy access. Free drinks are a big bonus. And ice cream.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.
The hotel provides free coffee and cake in reception, free ice cream and free soft drink or beer to drink in your room. The bedroom was large and very quiet. The car park was large. The receptionist was helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast had a wide selection, with choice of filter coffee or from a coffee machine. Location was superb, with a short walk along the river into beautiful Offenburg with its excellent restaurants and shops.
