It is an old style hotel, overpriced for what it was. We booked it because it said it has parking. Well it had, but it was closed.

Parking very limited. Was able to find a spot on the street a couple blocks away from the hotel for the first night because both the parking lot and garage were full. The next morning after some guests left we were able to park in the hotel lot.

Nice breakfast. Gerat location to reach public transportation for trips to the city center, just a few minutes walk to two different Ubahn stops. Friendly staff. Since it was so hot, I appreciated finding a table fan in the wardrobe to use at night.

- no air conditioning in the room which was a nightmare to sleep in as the temperature in the room would get very hot very quickly (a small electrical fan is not going to make the room temperature cool down) - no kettle in the room for you to have a cup of coffee/tea in your room at your own convenience

- hotel staff friendly and helpful - good selection of choices at breakfast - minibar in bedroom was great as could keep your drinks and snacks nice & cold - barman was very friendly and the food was delicious

A bit out dated Location was about 15 minutes from stuggart centre by tram Weird smell in the breakfast area Breakfast was awful, limited choices , food not restocked quick enough. Local pubs , look nice but staff don’t appear to want tourists and are quite unfriendly

The furniture was a bit outdated. Our room had a slanted wall on one side of the bed, causing painful bumps to the head when one is not careful when getting in and out of bed. Not a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom because it never stayed completely shut which did not allow complete privacy.

This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Hetzel. Free parking. Breakfast included although we didn't have time to eat. Check-in was quick and easy. Water kettle, instant coffee, and mini-frig were big pluses!

We were there (unfortunately) during one of the hottest nights of the year. Without air conditioning, it was very hot in the room. The mattresses of the bed were very hard (for my taste). Although the bathrooms were very nice, the door to the bathroom could not fully close and it is a bit weird when you can see someone on the toilet from your bed.

Ideal for one night stay. Nice rooms and clean bathroom.

The room is much clean and even receptionist staffs are friendly which makes the situation relaxing for me. However the location itself is a little far away from the city center, but then again we have suburban railway or S-Bahn to commute back and forth

Parking spaces are limited, and it was difficult to find a parking space. The room was ok and clean when we checked in, but I think the next day, the cleaning was done but very superficially. If you are looking for nice restaurants or things to do you have to drive to the centre as this part of Stuttgart is boring. The bar adjacent to the hotel are not friendly people, it was 9.30 pm and they wouldn't serve us a drink while the bar was still full.

The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Very friendly, breakfast was good.
