Very relaxing area with a nice terrace and view

There is no restaurant nearby. They have however a wonderful restaurant in house and the food is excellent but quite expensive. We spent Euro 450 for dinner for 3 persons (including 2 bottles of wine, dessert, coffee, etc)

Lovely country side hotel in a beautiful location, with exceptionally friendly staff and great food.

The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The location is remote and peaceful with beautiful views.

If you are lookiing for a remote location with nature around you, then this place is great! The dinner in the restaurant was fabulous and the service at dinner was superb. Greeting on arrival was also freindly, efficient und uncomplicated. Room was nice and spacious.

We specifically looked for a place which included breakfast and the breakfast was rather disappointing (esp considering the fantastic dinner we had). There seemed to be a conference taking place at the Hotel so for breakfast it seemed like we were left the 'left-overs' and the service at breakfast was rather poor.

Nice location, very good food and helpful restaurant staff. Great view and nice walks around the area. Enjoyed my stay and will go back again

we had a room with balcony, this place had plenty of character. we loved location on the hill and views, stayed for two nights with 3y boy. restaurant and staff were amazing. we want to come back for the view and restaurant experience)

Superb location and very friendly staff. The restaurant serves delicious food and has a terrace with a panoramic view. Rooms were large and clean

Could have used fan in room

The location was fantastic, as was the food and the staff. lovely peaceful surroundings, art and sculpture everywhere. A climb up the hill is worth the effort, as the views are spectacular. An abundance of wildlife. Loved it.

It was not obvious where reception was on arrival, but we found everything we needed at the restaurant. we had asked for a quiet room, but the room above had young children. Noise travelled between floors🙁 Rooms not as special as we had expected, but it was clean and comfortable. The only one thing that mess up our stay was when we came to reception to check out, we offered to pay for the meal and drinks we had the previous night. But we were told that we would be invoiced via email, we found this very strange. later that day we received an email invoice and we were surprised to see a request for payment, rather than showing a payment on our card. They requested payment via bank transfer, which we were not prepared to do. All came good in the end, as we shared card details and payment was taken. No big deal, but not what we expected.

the setting

The breakfast was very good, variety of food types, everyone can choose based on personal preference whatever they want to eat. Fruits, eggs, bacon, bakery products, jams, cheese, fish etc. This place is a real gem in the mountains. The view is fantastic, the hotel staff is the kindest I've ever met, they all speak very good English (and German for sure :)) The meal was fantastic, actually this is/was a Michelin guide advised place for eating and the quality of the food reflected this in every way. The WiFi was more than enough for working (MS Teams calls with video feeds went smoothly), the rooms are clean, comfy and sophisticated.

That I couldn't stay more.
