How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewIt was clean. It was close to public transport
The church in front of the hotel rings its bells every 15 minutes, from 6 AM to 10 PM, creating a lot of noise. The hotel does not have air conditioning, so it was warm during our stay, and opening the windows only increased the noise. Additionally, there was no hair dryer and fridge in the room. The hotel's location is not very close to the city center.

Verified reviewEverything is perfect for stay with car. Big parking, fast check in, good place. 😊
There is a church near by. The bell rings every 15 minutes during the day, at night it stops and starts from 6 in the morning so sleep with ear plugs or with windows closed. 😊

Verified reviewThe room is newly done and big compared with rest options.
Keep in kind that there is a church next door, the bells are quite an issue for some. It starts at 6 am. Doors are quite thin so you cam hear your neighbors and they can hear you. Bathroom equipment is oldschool so expect that water will be running and wont stop or shower doors do not close fully. For the price its amazing, just manage your expectations

Verified reviewLess than 15 minutes commute from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof and seems to be quite neighbourhood which I enjoyed.
No interaction with the host was something I don’t prefer personally. But I got sorted with my needs. So, no complain.

Verified reviewRoom was very clean and had a big bath section. Bed was very comfortable.
The bell towers ringing was a bit distracting when trying to sleep, but nothing to complain about the room.

Verified reviewGood location near S-bahn, very clean, nice firm bed.
There is only one key, so you have to arrange for your fellow traveller to come down to open main gate. Ok for one night, but keep in mind there is no fridge

Verified reviewRoom was clean and nicely furnished.
No front desk. Overwhelming paint fumes. I checked out a day early because of that and no offer of a refund. There was nobody there.

Verified reviewClose to public transport to get around the city easily. Lots of food options close by too. There were no staff to greet you, but the check-in information was simple and efficient with lockboxes
Hotel is right next to a church with bells that ring every 15 minutes from 6am until 10pm. The rooms have very little soundproofing, so don't expect to sleep in.

Verified reviewNearby the subway station, new furnished room
It’s extremely cold inside, especially in the bathroom, the heating is off and the windows are so thin. The water in the bathroom is barely warm. Only one socket for the whole room and short extension cord. I haven’t wlan for 2/3 days of my stay. No sound insulation, so if you are unlucky and your neighbours are coming late, you will hear everything in details. And the church nearby, where the bells are ringing every 15 minutes until late evening is an icing on the cake.

Nicely done Hola! Thanks Lola!
Honestly couldn´t expect anything else for the value, maybe breakfast availabilty but anyway the options near by are so good that we didn´t mind at all.

Verified reviewcleanliness at the level, staff when on location are friendly
they offer a bed and breakfast , but there is no breakfast, for which they apologize, but you pay bed and breakfast. the staff is not on site, so if you need something you have to constantly call on the mobile phonethe parking lot in front of the hotel is too small, but it can be found in the nearby area the television only works in connection with the internet, which does not work, but when it does, it is too slow, so the television is useless

Verified reviewHotel used to be an old traditional house which got completely renovated in 2022 and now is a really cool modern place in the center of Zuffenhausen -Stuttgart Which makes it easy to reach with two tram lines from main station. I love this area cause used to live here two blocks away. This time i just came for one night, did some necessary shopping very quickly and avoiding the hussle of the Stuttgart Mitte! 2 mins away there are numerous small shops, several restaurants to have a lunch or dinner, cafes for breakfast, as well as regular grocery shopping. The hostel has no breakfast yet but i went to the next bakery which i know from before. Super friendly staff, easy check-in/check-out I had a single room, very cosy and nicely made! Sound isolation is not perfect but its a regular problem of such houses, nothing to do with the hotel. Open wifi quite good, though for a conference the connection dropped off once for some time. In general not so bad. 2 U-Bahn Stations round the corner make it easy to get to Stuttgart city or S-Bahn for further destinations
The check-in time only 15-18 was fine for me this time but if you come later recheck if its possible
